Le Festival du Cinéma Américain de Deauville mettra à l’honneur la comédie américaine et
sa nouvelle génération d’actrices emblématiques avec la projection de deux films en
avant-premières :
Jamais entre amis (Sleeping with other people) de Leslye Headland, réalisatrice du très
remarqué Bachelorette en 2012. La comédienne Alison Brie, à l’affiche du film et qui a déjà
prouvé son talent dans les séries Mad Men et Community, sera présente à Deauville.
Le Festival proposera également de découvrir Crazy Amy (Trainwreck), dernière réalisation
de Judd Apatow, roi de la nouvelle vague de la comédie américaine, avec Amy Schumer,
humoriste et comédienne qui a également signé le scénario du film.
The Deauville American Film Festival will be shining the spotlight on American comedy and
a new generation of iconic actresses with two premier screenings:
Sleeping with Other People (Jamais entre amis) by Leslye Headland, director of the highly
acclaimed Bachelorette in 2012, stars Alison Brie, who has already confirmed her talent in
the TV series Mad Men and Community. Brie will be in attendance at Deauville.
The Festival will also be showing Trainwreck (Crazy Amy), the latest movie from Judd
Apatow, king of the new wave of American comedy, and starring Amy Schumer,
comedienne and actress who also co-wrote the screenplay.

Depuis sa plus tendre enfance, le père d’Amy n’a eu de cesse de lui répéter qu’il n’est pas réaliste
d’être monogame. Devenue journaliste, Amy vit selon ce crédo – appréciant sa vie de jeune femme
libre et désinhibée loin des relations amoureuses, qu’elle considère étouffantes et ennuyeuses ; mais
en réalité, elle s’est un peu enlisée dans la routine. Quand elle se retrouve à craquer pour le sujet de
son nouvel article, un brillant et charmant médecin du sport nommé Aaron Conners, Amy commence
à se demander si les autres adultes, y compris ce type qui semble vraiment l’apprécier, n’auraient
pas quelque chose à lui apprendre.
Since she was a little girl, it’s been drilled into Amy’s head by her rascal of a dad that monogamy isn’t
realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo—enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited
life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment—but in actuality, she’s kind of in a rut. When she
finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful
sports doctor named Aaron Conners, Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who
really seems to like her, might be on to something.

Jake et Lainey ont perdu ensemble leur virginité sur un coup de tête à l'université. Quand ils se
