SBR Using the Postcode and Address finder
Using the Postcode and Address Finder
When inputting addresses and postcodes on the SBR
System it is recommended that you use the built in
search facility to find the correct address/postcode.
This will ensure that the address is in an appropriate
format to access the CHI registration function and
also limit typographical errors.
How to use the postcode and address finder
The more specific your search is the quicker it will
run. For example, if you are searching for a
common street name such as ‘High Street’ you
should also include the town / village.
If the address finder cannot find the address you
are looking for please contact the SBR team.
Common validation issues are:
No first address line
Please note that house nos. do not appear in
numeric order - you may have to scroll further
down to find the address you are looking for.
Use of commas, colons, & signs etc. in
address lines
Postcodes with either no space or multiple
spaces in the middle
