Mr. Latreille is a senior consultant with more than 25 years of experience in economics and business
development through innovation, design and planning at various levels. He is fully aware that globalization
and the enhanced scarcity of resources of all kind require innovative solutions – especially for any
business/community that wishes to achieve sustainable growth.
He has undertaken a variety of projects in more than 20 countries on behalf of Canadian or external firms,
including CIDA/World Bank/UNDP financing and CVC. He is also founder of two SMEs: Caviart, Cafégalerie inc. (Hull, 1983-1987) and globeFlash inc. (1994- ). This latter is a start-up that holds worldwide IP
rights on next generation postcards with the prototype having been inaugurated at a G-7 Conference in
Brussells by the former European Commission President and former Prime Minister of Canada.
Mr. Latreille holds a bachelor and master’s degrees in both management and economics from the University
of Ottawa, as well as certification in stock trading from the Institut canadien des valeurs mobilières (ICVM)
and international trading from l’Association des maisons de commerce extérieur du Québec (AMCEQ). He
teaches part time economics, quantitative methods and applied statistics to marketing/communication fields
at the bachelor level and project design at graduate studies at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Finally,
