Bonne fête des Pères
Pour la fête des pères rions un peu et récitons une prière à la Sainte-Famille. Et souhaitons que
tous les Papas soient comblés de la présence de leur famille, de la joie, du repos et de l’amour.
Un petit garçon demande à son père:- Papa, qui m'a donné mon intelligence?
- C'est sûrement ta mère, car moi, j'ai encore la mienne.

Pour la fête des Pères, le Papa dit à son fils:- Ce qui me ferait le plus plaisir mon
pit, c'est que tu travailles bien à l'école.
Toto dit :- Trop tard je t'ai acheté une cravate !
Prière à la Sainte Famille
Sainte Famille de Nazareth, vous êtes sur terre le reflet de la Trinité‚ d'Amour du ciel. Veillez avec
bonté‚ sur les familles qui se mettent sous votre protection.
Que votre amour conjugal, parental et filial, soit un modèle et un soutien pour tous les époux, les
parents et les enfants de la terre.
Jésus, Marie, Joseph, apprenez à nos familles à vivre profondément les grandes valeurs
évangéliques: le pardon, la compassion, l’unité, la foi, l’espérance, l’amour.
Protégez nos familles de la violence et de la division. Secourez-les dans leurs besoins matériels et
spirituels. Donnez-leur la grâce de se mettre à votre école du cœur. Veillez aussi sur les familles en
difficulté ou divisées, implorant pour elles la miséricorde et la tendresse de Dieu notre Père.
Jésus, Marie, Joseph, bénissez nos familles. Gardez-les dans la fidélité et l’unité. Et aidez-nous à
participer, dans notre grande famille qu’est l’Église, à la venue du règne de Dieu sur la terre. Amen!
Témoignage de Sœur Rita, f.m.m
Nous étions une douzaine à la présentation préparée par Sr Rita
Kim, des Franciscaines Missionnaires de Marie. Elle est arrivée à
Calgary au début janvier 2016. Sa tâche consiste à travailler auprès
des autochtones des réserves de Cluny, Stand Off et Brokett. Elle a
exprimé l’importance de l’écoute et de travailler à connaître ces gens
qui ont un bon sens d’humour. Parfois, elle trouve sa tâche lourde,
mais elle est forte et a confiance que le Seigneur la guide. Cette
jeune Sr Rita parle humblement, avec amour et miséricorde et
humblement elle demande nos prières.
Nous rendons grâce pour les Dames de Ste-Famille qui sont fidèles à
ces rencontres de souper Potluck toujours variés et merveilleusement
servi. Merci.
Une histoire touchante que Sr Rita a
compté: Au centre-ville de Toronto, elle
préparait et servait des sandwichs pour les
sans abris. À un jeune autochtone, elle a
insisté pour qu’il prenne 3 sandwichs, mais
celui-ci refusa disant qu’il ne voulait pas par
crainte que les autres n’en aient pas.

Funérailles pour Réal Sharkey
La date de la messe de funérailles pour Réal n’a pas encore
été fixée, à cause de quelques procédure administratives et
légales. Sous peu tout sera réglé et nous l’annoncerons.

Réflexion
Jésus a dit: "Faites pour les autres ce que vous voulez qu'ils fassent pour vous" (Luc 6.31). Je crois que nous
pouvons produire un changement dans notre petit coin du monde pour peu que nous soyons disposés à faire
les premiers pas.
Dans Jean 13, lorsque Jésus eut terminé de laver les pieds de ses disciples, il leur dit: "Si donc je vous ai lavé
les pieds, moi le Seigneur et le Maître, vous aussi vous devez vous laver les pieds les uns aux autres; car je
vous ai donné un exemple afin que, vous aussi, vous fassiez comme moi je vous ai fait" (Jean 13.14-15).
Ce que nous avons souvent du mal à comprendre c'est que, si nous faisons ce qui est en notre pouvoir pour
répondre aux besoins des autres, nous serons bénis et heureux.
Une action pour aujourd'hui
Je vous encourage donc aujourd'hui à sortir de votre zone de confort et à faire preuve
de créativité. Essayez de trouver des moyens d'aider les différentes catégories de
personnes que Dieu place dans votre vie.

with a Mass at 7 pm St. Mary’s Cathedral, presided by Bishop Frederick Henry. We will not only
recognize refugees, past and current, but the many people dedicated to helping the refugees. An

HOLY LAND & JORDAN PILGRIMAGE (NOVEMBER 12-24) - INFORMATION MEETING
Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Ascension Catholic Parish (1100 Berkshire Blvd N.W), from 7:00 pm

RIDE FOR REFUGE 2016 - Ride for Refuge is back for its fourth year in Calgary. Once again, the
Diocese is pleased to host this fundraising event for charities serving the vulnerable, displaced and
exploited. Funds raised by the Diocese will benefit our Elizabeth House Program which serves
parenting and pregnant young women at risk and without traditional supports. Join us October 1 to
walk 5 km or ride 5, 10 or 25 km routes out in Springbank. Entry fee is $50 fundraised for each person
over 10. The first 100 people in Canada to raise $500 will get a limited edition Ride Hoodie! For more

2016 BISHOP'S DINNER –This year, Bishop's Dinner is shining the light of Christ into the dark issues
of human trafficking and pornography. On October 20, 2016 Bishop Henry will give his usual
passionate keynote address speaking on having a Clean Heart. We hope you will join us to be
