Situated in the beautiful vineyards of Umbria, this private rental villa is the ideal
destination for the perfect summer holidays, especially for wine lovers. Famous for its
abundant sunshine in summer this lush and sparsely populated area is often called the
"green heart of Italy". The airport of Perugia is about one hour's drive away and a
beautiful lake only five minutes. Although the owners and cellar keeper of the
successful winery also live on the fenced property, the luxury villa, about 250 meters
from the other buildings, has its own entrance gate. The imposing gray double story
house and green lawns are surrounded by a few old olive trees and never ending
vineyards, a lush green in summer and breathtaking shades of brown and yellow in
autumn.
The spacious entrance hall welcomes guests with its old central fire place and wide
carpeted staircase. Also on the ground floor is the open living area with comfortable
sofas and chairs and the beautiful dining area is next to it. Large glass doors from all
of these rooms lend access to the big terrace with its impressive arches and the
spectacular views on all sides. It can be part of the fun for family and friends to help
prepare sumptuous meals in the fully equipped kitchen.
The first of the five en suite bedrooms, a twin bedroom, as well as a guest toilet, is
situated on the ground floor. The impressive red carpeted staircase leads to the first
floor with its luxurious two king size bedrooms. Two comfortable twin bedrooms sleep
another four guests. These four en suite bathrooms each has a bath tub and separate
shower. All four first floor bedrooms each boast an elegant sitting area, ideal for
reading, with chairs, a desk and a safe. Needless to say, guests can relax and enjoy
the views, especially at sunset.
Wonderful family meals can be served on the covered arched terrace with its
comfortable lounge set, dining area and gorgeous views of the surrounding vineyards.
