Created in the spring of 2011, Pink Ribbon Monaco is a Monaco based
association whose goal is to create awareness of breast cancer screening
andpreventionmethods.Byworkingcloselywithmembersoftheoncology
and screening departments of the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, we
intend to minimize the numbers of victims by undetected cases by
encouragingearlydetection.
Créeauprintemps2011,PinkRibbonMonacoestuneassociationbaséeen
Principauté ĚĞ DŽŶĂĐŽ, dont le but est de sensibiliser et d’’éduquer le
publicsurlesméthodesdepréventionetdedépistageducancerdusein.
En travaillant côte à côte avec les chefs de service du département
d’’oncologie et de dépistage du Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, nous
comptons limiter les victimes ĚĞ cette maladie en prévenant des cas nonͲ
détectés.
““Pink Ribbon Walk”” est une action reconnue à travers le
monde comme un des évènements le plus anticipé dans la
luttecontrelecancerdusein.Cetteactionest
)HVWLYHhommes,femmes,enfantspeuventparticiper,
enfamille,engroupe,entrepriseouamisetfairedece
moment une célébration de la vie. Les dossards des
participantsn’’aurontpasdenuméros,maisunmessage
de soutien aux victimes et survivants, écrit par les
participants. Les 3 kms sont courus dans un esprit
convivialsimplementpoursoutenirunecausedesanté
publique.

world as one of the most anticipated events in the fight

participant bibs do not have numbers on them, as
wedonotcompete,butparticipate.Instead,thebibs
will carry messages to the victims and survivors of
cancer, written by the participant. The 3 km are
walked in a celebratory spirit, to support a public
healthcause.
