Compliance of Caneco BT V4 and V5 with VDE standard
Caneco BT has got certificates of compliance with Low Voltage electrical standard calculation in France
(C15100) Belgium (RGIE) and UK (BS7671).
For Germany VDE standard as far as there is no authority to deliver such certificate, Alpi has carried out the
same procedure to test the conformity of Caneco BT electrical calculation according to the HD384 rules
(CENELEC European standard).
These rules are :
Current carrying capacity
Protection against overload
Protection against short-circuits (Breaking capacity of protective device, and if need be, calculation of thermal
stress of conductors on short circuit.
Human protection against indirect contacts
Voltage drop
For more details about calculation methods, the user can refer to Electrical standard reference documents
where method of calculation, parameters are detailed (IEC 364-5-523, CENELEC R64-0001, R64-0003).
