Um Schäden zu vermeiden, stecken Sie das Netzkabel als letzten Schritt der
Verkabelung ein!
Überprüfen Sie als ersten Schritt, ob der Netzspannungs-Umschalter [26] auf den
Spannungsbereich eingestellt ist, der lhrer lokalen Netzspannung entspricht. Korrigieren Sie die Einstellung, falls nötig.

Erster Tastendruck schaltet das Gerät in Aufnahmepause (RECP = Record/Pause). Die
Aufnahme wird mit PLAY oder nochmaligem PAUSE Befehl gestartet. Die Umschaltung
zwischen TAPE und SOURCE (Aufnahmequelle) geschieht vollautomatisch: in den Modi
PLAY und REC hört man die Bandaufnahme, im Modus RECP wird umgeschaltet auf
SOURCE. Eine Hinterbandkontolle ist über den Kopfhöreranschluss [16] möglich.

Schaltet zwischen Dolby B und C Rauschunterdrückung um. Für Neuaufnahmen empfiehlt

B erreicht. Dolby B sollte für das Abspielen bestehender Aufnahmen oder das Anhängen
neuer Aufnahmen bei Dolby-B bespielten Kassetten gewählt werden.

Einmessen
Ab Werk ist das Gerät auf die im Abschnitt "Technische Daten" erwähnten Kassetten optimal voreingestellt worden
(Drehsteller REC BIAS [18] in Mittenstellung).
Bei eingelegter Kassette wird die Bandsorte automatisch gewählt und im Display [7] Segment lGl angezeigt
(NORMAL tCrO2 / METAL).
Die Drehsteller BIAS [18] und CAL [19] dienen zur Anpassung sowohl von unterschiedlichen Bandchargen als auch
auf verschiedene Fabrikate von Kassetten und sind für die Bandklassen I und ll wirksam.
Mittels BIAS [18] kann auf identische Höhenwiedergabe eingestellt werden - ein Vergleich ist durch Umschalten
SOURCE / TAPE möglich (aus Aufnahme PAUSE anwählen).
Mittels CAL [19]kann anhand der Pegelanzeige |l im Display [7]auf gleiche Pegelfür Vor- und Hinterband-Signal
eingestellt werden.
Als wirksames Audiosignal kann dabei sowohl das Rauschen eines FM-Tuners (ohne Signal und ohne Muting) dienen
oder aber eine andere verfügbare hohe Tonfrequenz.
Pflege und Reinigung
Die Pflege des Kassettengerätes H 11 beschränkt sich auf das Reinigen der Tonmotor-Achsen, Andruckrollen,
Bandführungen und den Tonköpfen (Reinigungsset Best.-Nr. 39000) sowie das Entmagnetisieren der Bandführungen
und Tonköpfe mit einer handelsüblichen Entmagnetisierungsdrossel.

The factory has prealigned the tape deck to the cassettes referred to in the section "Technical data" (rotary selector
REC BIAS [18] in center position).
When the cassette is inserted, the tape type is selected automatically and shown on the display [7] segment [G]
(NORMAL/CrO2lMETAL).
The rotary selectors BIAS [18] and CAL [19] are used for adjustment within different batches of the same brand or
for different brands. The adjustment is only effective for cassette types I and ll.
With the BIAS [18] control you can adjust to identical treble reproduction - a comparison test is possible by switching
between SOURCE/IAPE (select PAUSE from record mode).
With CAL [19] you can align to identical source/tape signalwith the aid of the level indicator fll on the display [7].
The noise of an FM tuner (without signal and without muting) or any other high audio frequency can be used as the
test signal.
Care and cleaning
The care of the H '1 1 cassette tape deck is limited to cleaning the capstan motor shaft, pinch rollers, tape guides and
the soundheads (cleaning kit, part No. 39000) as well as the demagnetization of the tape guides and soundheads
with a commercially available demagnetizing choke.

Les s6lecteurs BIAS [1 8] et CAL [19] servent ä l'adaptation tant ä diff6rentes charges de bande qu'ä diverses marques
de cassettes et ont effet pour les classes de bandes I et ll.
Avec BIAS [1 8] on peut 169ler pour reproduction identique des aigus - une comparaison est possible par commutation

Entretien et nettoyage
L'entretien du magn6tophone ä cassettes H 1 1 se limite au nettoyage des axes de moteurs son, galets de pression,
guides de bande et tötes de lecture et d'enregistrement (jeu de nettoyage num6ro de commande 39000) ainsi qu'ä
