Chine / Tibet, Tara Verte en bronze, 17ème siècle.
Tara verte en bronze doré représentée assise en lalitasana sur une base en double lotus, son
pied droit reposant sur un lotus qui sort de la base. Sa main gauche en virtakamudra et sa main
droite en varadamudra, une main supportant un lotus. Un autre lotus est attaché sur son bras.
Elle porte un dhoti et un châle sur ses épaules. Son corps est paré de bijoux rehaussés de
turquoises et de pierres rouges naturelles. Son expression est sereine et ses cheveux, relevés
en chignon et retombant sur ses épaules, sont ornés d'un didème à sept branches.
Hauteur: 11cm.

The figure seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base, her right foot resting on a lotus, the left
hand in virtakamudra and the right in varadamudra, , supporting uptala lotuses rising to the
shoulders along the elbows, wearing a dhoti and a loose shawl over the shoulder, adorned
with inlaid bejewelled necklaces around the waist and the chest with turquoises and red
stones, the face with a serene expression, the hair pullied up in a high chignon, falling to each
shoulder and framed by a seven-pendant diadem.

该绿度母坐于莲花座之上，双手结印，佛面安详沉静。其衣饰华美，有绿松石和红色
宝石作为点缀。其肩膀和手肘之间伴有一枝莲花，右脚下垂也抵住一朵莲花，此为绿
度母像的标准样式。
