SCHOOL OVERVIEW
Outline: This senior course is designed to provide participants with an interactive discussion forum on
inbound/outbound tax planning issues, insight into the application of anti-avoidance provisions, recent
developments affecting MNE and their employees. The technical sessions (complemented with supplementary
material such as case law and related articles) are coupled with practical sessions on which the focus is
interactive presentation and discussion of cases. The course includes also a case study that will be presented
in the final day by each group of participants.
Registration requirements
 Taxanders: 5-7 years experience, working knowledge on international tax (not partner level)
 Each participant prepares 1 presentation covering international tax structuring idea (outbound
or inbound) or recent case law case of interest from their jurisdiction covering cross-border
issues (maximum 2 slides per idea/case – covering basically what and why is relevant)
 Reading materials (will be provided soon)
