The conference will include plenary lectures and poster sessions. The posters will be previously
presented in goups of 6-10 by senior scientists appointed by the scientific committee. The
conferences and posters will be presented in English.
Le congrès comprend des conférences plénières ainsi que des sessions d'affiches. Les affiches
seront présentées avant la session par groupes de 6 à 10 par des personnalités scientifiques qui
seront désignées parle comité scientifique. Les conférences et les affiches seront présentées en
langue anglaise.

SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE / BUT DU CONGRES
Following the success of the six previous conferences on Gas-Liquid and GasLiquid-Solid reactor Engineering which were held at Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A. (1992),
Cambridge, U.K. (1995), Kanagawa, Japan (1997), Delft, The Netherlands (1999),
Melbourne, Australia (2001) and Vancouver, Canada (2003), the seventh
conference with the same theme is planned in Strasbourg, France, 2005. This
conference will cover all aspects of multiphase reactors related to progress made
in the understanding, performance and operation of these reactors and will bring
together scientists and engineers from universities and industry.
Suite au succès des six derniers congrès sur les réacteurs Gaz-Liquide et GazLiquid-Solide qui se sont tenus à Colombus, Ohio, Etats-Unis (1992), Cambridge,
Angleterre (1995), Kanagawa, Japon (1997), Delft, Pays-Bas (1999), Melbourne,
Australie (2001) et Vancouver, Canada (2003), le septième congrès portant sur les
mêmes thématiques aura lieu à Strasbourg, France en 2005. Ce congrès couvrira
tous les aspects se rapportant aux réacteurs polyphasiques et en relation avec les
progrès réalisés dans la compréhension, la performance et le fonctionnement de
ces réacteurs et réunira les chercheurs des communautés scientifiques universitaire
et industrielle.

The first selection of papers will be based on review of two-pages abstracts in which the purpose,
scope and significance of the work should clearly be summarized.
Abstracts should be submitted electronically, following the instructions posted on the conference

FURTHER INFORMATION / AUTRES INFORMATIONS
In parallel to the 7th conference on gas-liquid and gas-liquidsolid reactor engineering will be held at the same Palais des
Congrès of Strasbourg the world congress of the International
Ozone Association. Half a day of both congresses will be held
in common, since there are a number of areas of common
interest to both communities.
Parallèlement au 7ème Congrès sur les Réacteurs gaz-liquide et
gaz-liquide-solide, aura lieu le congrès mondial de l'Association
Internationale de l'Ozone. Sachant que plusieurs thèmes
intéressent simultanément les deux communautés, une demi
journée de ces deux congrès sera commune et consacrée à ces
deux communautés.
