Standing arm wrestle / Le bras de force debout (Standing foot-to-foot, right handsclasped, first one to
move a foot loses)
Chicken fight / La bataille de coq (Handshake grip, pick up opposite foot, first one to exit the boundary
or put other foot down loses)
Log balance / L’équilibrage sur pitoune (Standing on “log”, swinging pillows (foam bats), first one to
step completely off the “log” loses),
Leg wrestling / Les jambettes (lying opposite directions, elbow to elbow, raise closer leg, once, twice
thrice, engage, push, whoever touches heel to floor wins)
Spoons:
Common Level: find the beat (if spoons in right hand, tap above left knee), put your hand over top
(tap up and down), go double-time (in time to the beat), stop and start in patterns
Intermediate Level: Horse trot - down, down, up (repeat), beat is on the up tap (keep time with your
left hand)
Advanced Level: Horse trot - after up beat, turn left hand palm up and tap on your way back to your
thigh. Ladder - spread fingers of left hand firmly like a ladder, incline thumb slightly
away from spoons, draw tip of spoons lightly down middle of rungs to make a trill
