Jaydee says, this is a very simplistic rose
and much can be done with it. You can
use a varitey of methods to complete the
rose, including: needleturn, freezer paper
or machine appliqué
You may choose to use it flat or 3-dimensional with embroidery in the throat
of the rose for a nice finishing touch.
Try mirroring or flipping the pattern to
make a circle of roses, or work it into a
corner or border of a quilt. This pattern
looks nice in any fabric but Jaydee likes
to use batiks or hand dyed fabrics.
