EN MOTO SANS CASQUE

ON A MOTORCYCLE WITH A HELMET
Hier, mardi, vers 15 h 30, sur la route 105 à
Chelsea, trois (3) motocyclistes américains
furent interceptés par un patrouilleur puisque
deux (2) d’entres eux conduisaient leur moto
sans porter de casque protecteur. Les deux
(2) hommes, âgés dans la vingtaine, étaient
accompagnés de leur père qui, lui, portait son
casque.
Yesterday, Tuesday, around 15:30 hrs, on
Highway 105 in Chelsea, three (3) American
motorcycle riders were intercepted by one of
our officers since two (2) of them were not
wearing a protective helmet. The two (2) men,
in the twenties, were accompanied by their
father, who was wearing his helmet.
Le trio arrivait de Gatineau et était en route
pour le camping du Lac Philippe.
Heureusement pour eux, ceux-ci avaient leur
casque attaché à leur moto et furent en
mesure de porter immédiatement la pièce
d’équipement.
The trio, coming from Gatineau, was on its way
to the Lac Philippe campground. Fortunately
for them, their helmet was attached to their
motorcycle and they were able to immediately
put on this piece of equipment.
Par contre, les deux (2) hommes ont dû
payer leur contravention d’un montant de 120
$ chacun, et ce, immédiatement, ce qui ne
les a pas empêchés de se faire prendre en
photo avec notre sympathique policier.
However, the two (2) men had to immediately
pay their fine in the amount of $120.00 each,
which did not stop them from having their
picture taken with our friendly police officer.
