By using the services of Visa Center.I authorize it to handle my personal Information and my passport/other documents and particulars to a foreign diplomatic/consular missions in Canada & US for the purpose of acquiring a
visa or other consular documents as well as to receive information on my application from foreign diplomatic/consular missions and sign on my behalf whenever and wherever it is required for the purpose of obtaining visa.
By signing this document, I accept in whole the following terms, conditions and limitations: Visa Center does not issue visas and can not and does not guarantee a visa will be issued by a diplomatic/diplomatic/consular
office, as this Is the sole prerogative of the foreign government. Issuance of visa, processing timing, visa type, its validity term, number of entries and other details are determined exclusively by the embassy/consulate on
case by case basis. Once the application file has been submitted to the embassy/consulate, no changes of any kind, including the trip dates and/or processing timing, are possible or allowed. Processing timings and require­
ments mentioned on Visa Center web site is a general guide-line only. Embassy/consulate has the right to request additional documentation and increase the processing timing. Visa Center does not bear liability for the
safety or security of your passport/document once the passport has entered the diplomatic/consular or other authority grounds or passed into the control of a courier company for delivery. V1sa Center is not liable for any
stolen or lost passports, while out of our hands, and holds no liability for late delivery of passports and visas. and Visa Center does not bear any financial, legal or other obligations whatsoever for client travel bookings or
other purchases, down payments, or any kind of travel or other arrangements that were done prior to the issuance of visa that may be affected by processing times, visa details or denial of visa. Visa Center does not bear any
financial (or otherwise) responsibility from issues and losses arising from errors and improper issuance of visas by the consulates and does not compensate for travel expenses arising from any of the above. Even when visa is
issued, a traveler may be denied entry since in each country the local immigration officials make the final decision to grant the entry. Client with visa application form submitted in any other than the required format will
charged $3S+HST. Visa Center will charge $85 + HST per passport, per country, for canceled visa applications for whatever reasons after the documents have been received for processing. No refund is possible once the docu­
ments submitted to foreign diplomatic/consular mission for processing. I understand and fully accept the above mentioned. BY SIGNING BELOW YOU AGREE ON ABOVE CONDITIONS & CHARGES PROCESSED TO YOUR CARD IN­

folders right away without you checking them and thus missing the important update on your
visa file. To avoid this unfortunate situation we offer you to have our notifications being sent to
your mobile phone as text messages.
Price for this service is: 1.00 +HST, and it will be added to the total service charge.
We shall be using the data provided by you in your SMS application form solely and exclusively to send your application status by
SMS to your registered mobile number, and to send you these details also by e-mail at the indicated e-mail address. We may also
provide your information to any government or government agency in connection with the processing of your application. BY
SIGNING THIS FORM YOU ARE NOTIFYING US THAT YOU CONSENT TO RECEIVING THIS INFORMATION BY SMS AND
EMAIL. Please note that if you give your consent, you have the right at any time to withdraw this consent by notifying us at
VisaCenter by email [email protected].
Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions
1. The Short Messaging Service (‘SMS’) provided to Visa Applicants is to update on current status to the applicant with regards to Visa Application Process. The information
provided by SMS is based among others on the information provided by the Embassy/Consulate. While VisaCenter ensures that information is made available to the
visa applicant promptly and accurately, the Visa Applicant shall at all times be responsible for providing and maintaining an SMS text compatible mobile phone number
where VisaCenter can send text messages regarding the status of the Visa Application to the Visa Applicant. The Visa Applicant is responsible for ensuring connection to a
mobile network capable of receiving the SMS Services. The Visa Applicant understands that if The Visa Applicant ‘s mobile phone is switched off, disconnected for any
reasons or is out of coverage for a period of 24 hours or more, The Visa Applicant’s mobile network provider may delete any SMS messages to be received by The Visa
Applicant.
2. The Visa Applicant confirms that the Visa Applicant has provided the accurate mobile number for receiving SMS and that the Visa Applicant is the owner or its legitimate
user, or that the Visa Applicant has the consent of the owner or legitimate user, of the mobile phone using for the Services. The Visa Applicant acknowledges that using
another person's mobile phone/providing inaccurate mobile phone number/unauthorized use of mobile phone number for receiving the SMS may entail disclosure of Visa
Applicant ‘s confidential information which disclosure shall be at the sole risk of the Visa Applicant
3. The Services, once obtained, will be available to the Visa Applicant from the time of application till complete processing of the application or such other period as
VisaCenter may advise via our website located at www.VisaCenter.ca . VisaCenter reserves the right to withdraw this service at any time and without notice.
4. The Visa Applicant must not use (or permit any third party to use) the SMS Service to send any message or communication which is Spam, illegal, offensive, abusive,
indecent, obscene or menacing or causes annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety or infringes the rights of third parties. VisaCenter reserves the right to withdraw the
SMS service to such Visa Applicant if The Visa Applicant is in breach of this paragraph 4. VisaCenter may also withdraw the Services if VisaCenter in its sole discretion
apprehends that the SMS service is being used for such purposes.
5. For operational reasons VisaCenter may vary the technical specification of the Services with or with out notice. In the event of any change to the Service these Terms and
Conditions is to be treated as varied accordingly.
6. The time to deliver the SMS is dependent on several factors such as upon the traffic on the mobile network and whether The Visa Applicant mobile phone is within reach
and switched on and cannot therefore be guaranteed by VisaCenter. VisaCenter is not a mobile network operator and does not guarantee the delivery of SMS text
messages.
7. The Visa Applicant acknowledges that the SMS Services may, at any time, be adversely affected by problems with The Visa Applicant mobile phone network, type of
mobile account, force majeure events including, without limitation, interference to the network coverage. VisaCenter is not responsible or liable to The Visa Applicant for any
loss, damage or expenses incurred directly or indirectly by The Visa Applicant as a result of any difficulties experienced by the Visa Applicant‘s mobile phone service
provider.
Subject to the constraints described within this paragraph 7, VisaCenter shall carry out the services with reasonable care and skill.
8. If The Visa Applicant does not receive SMS relating to these Services. the Visa Applicant should inform VisaCenter through email.
9. The SMS service delivers the Visa Application Status based on the information received by VisaCenter from Embassy/Consulate.
10. The Visa Applicant agrees to comply with all instructions we may give concerning the Services, including any security instructions. We will be entitled to treat any failure
by Visa Applicant themselves to comply with these instructions as a breach of these Terms and Conditions, which will entitle us to deny Visa Applicant access to the
Services.
11. The Visa Applicant is responsible for paying charges for the message origination. Charges once paid for SMS service will not be refunded under any circumstances.
12. The Visa Applicant shall at its sole risk be responsible for taking all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized persons gaining access to the Services.
13. While VisaCenter takes every precaution transmission of information to transmit information. VisaCenter shall not be responsible or liable for any unforeseen events and
circumstances beyond the reasonable control of VisaCenter.
14. VisaCenter may in its sole discretion temporarily suspend the provision of the Services if such provision could materially affect the quality of any telecommunications
service, including the Services, provided by VisaCenter.
15. VisaCenter specifically excludes all liability of any kind (including negligence) in respect of any third party information or other material made available on, or which can
be accessed using SMS text services.

The world unfortunately is not a safe place. When you travel abroad and
surrounded by foreign environment many situations, in some cases hostile may
arise, like terrorist attacks, banditry or even war. Plus there are natural disasters
and catastrophes.
Visacenter.ca can help you to make your contact information in the country
where you are traveling available to Canadian Embassy/Consular officials
responsible for helping Canadians abroad.
What is the registration?
Upon your request the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa (DFAIT) will be
provided with your major contact information in the country of your travel as well
as your emergency contact in Canada. I n the event there is a need to contact
Canadians to offer urgent advice or evacuation during a natural disaster or civil unrest,
or to inform them of a family emergency at home, Canadian Embassy/Consulate
contacts all registered Canadian citizens in that country.
OFFICIAL REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED for ALL Canadians traveling abroad
for business or pleasure, or residing abroad, irrespectively of the length of travel.
It is best to register BEFORE leaving Canada.
What should I do to register?
To register, you are required to fill-out short Registration of Canadians Abroad Form
with your basic contact information.
What is the cost?
The cost of peace of mind is just CAD16.95 (HST included) per person.

Basic Documents:
- Actual valid passport must be submitted (Valid at least for 8 months from the date of submission for
visa & min. 2 empty pages)
- One color photo. (Photo facility is available on-site - TORONTO, OTTAWA, MARKHAM &
VANCOUVER). Please note that photos from photo booth or home-shot photos are not acceptable. If
you are not visiting our office and prefer to courier your documents you must have your photos done
in accordance with the following specifications: Size: 48x33 mm; the photo must be taken within 6
months, with full face, front view, against white background and has a time stamp with address of
photo studio at the back.
- Filled out and signed CHINA VISA APPLICATION FORM
(http://www.visacenter.ca/china_visa_application_fillable.pdf). (Note: When filling out the form put your
Driver's License number or Citizenship card number, or Health card number in item 1.9.)
If you have trouble typing in this form, right-click the above highlighted link, and use "Save As" option to save
to your desktop, open and fill out from there.

You may also submit hand-filled application form for an additional fee of CAD35 + HST which will be added to
your total payment. This may extend processing of your file by another 1-2 days. $10/applicant + tax will be
applied to your total bill if electronically filled application form submitted by you contains errors and/or
omissions.
- Non-Canadian applicants must provide the original of the document confirming their current resident
status in Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, Work Permit). There is no expedited visa processing for
non-Canadian passport holders.
- In case the name on the national passport has a different spelling than on the resident document, official
Name Change Certificate is required.
- Former Chinese & Hong Kong citizens, as well as all those born in China & Hong Kong are required to
provide:
Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicable to foreign citizens those who
were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship). If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the
first time, you should provide your previous Chinese passport held and a photocopy of its data page. If you
have obtained Chinese visas before and want to apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport
that does not contain any Chinese visa, you should present the photocopy of the previous passport's data
page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page. (If your name on the
current passport differs from that on the previous one, you must provide an official document of name
change.)
NOTE: Persons WITH DUAL citizenship, ONE of which IS Canadian, must apply WITH their Canadian
passports only. Applicants WITH other THAN Canadian passports must provide the ORIGINAL of the
document confirming their current resident STATUS IN Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, WORK
Permit).
Toronto Specific requirements: Applicants of the Chinese descent - 1)Those who have been born in Canada
must present: a) Original of long form birth certificate.b) Both parents' passport and citizenship card(originals)
to proof their nationality in the year the applicant has been born. 2)Those who has been born in China must
present: a) Original of birth certificate. b) Both parents' passport and citizenship card (originals) to proof their
nationality in the year the applicant has been born or applicant's PR card or landed documents(originals)
Vancouver Specific requirements: Applicants with passports from India and African countries (except South
Africa) applying in Vancouver require to present bank statement.
Additional documents are required for different visa types - SEE BELOW:
• Documents de base:

Vous pouvez également soumettre le formulaire de demande rempli à la main pour les frais

Note: Lorsque vous remplissez le formulaire veuillez mettre le numéro de Permis de Conduire ou le
numéro de la Carte de Citoyenneté, ou le numéro de la Carte Santé au point 1.9).
- Les demandeurs non-canadiens doivent fournir l'original du document confirmant leur statut de
résident actuellement au Canada (carte RP, document d'immigration, permis de travail). Il n'y a pas de
traitement accéléré de visa pour les titulaires d'un passeport non-canadiens. Si le nom sur le passeport
national a une orthographe différente que celui sur le document de résident, Déclaration solennelle
certifié par le notaire sur cette question est nécessaire. Ceux qui appliquent à notre bureau principal
peuvent avoir leur déclaration rédigé et certifié sur place avec des frais supplémentaires.
- Les anciens citoyens chinois et de Hong Kong, ainsi que tous ceux qui sont nés en Chine et
Hong Kong doivent fournir:
Une photocopie du passeport chinois précédent ou visas chinois précédents (applicables aux citoyens
étrangers ceux qui étaient des citoyens chinois et ont obtenu la citoyenneté étrangère). Si vous faites
une demande du visa chinois pour la première fois, vous devez fournir votre passeport chinois
précédent tenu et une photocopie de sa page de données. Si vous avez obtenu des visas chinois avant

Pour ceux ayant UNE DOUBLE NATIONALITÉ, UNE de celles étant canadienne, il faudra faire une
demande strictement AVEC passeports canadiens. Les candidats ayant un autre passeport QUE
CELUI du Canada, il faudra fournir une copie du document en confirmant leur état actuel
RÉSIDENTIEL AU Canada (Carte RP, Permis de TRAVAIL).
Toronto: exigences particulières: Les demandeurs de l'origine chinoise - 1) Ceux qui sont nés au
Canada doivent présenter: a) l'original du certificat de naissance - forme longue. b) le passeport et la
carte de citoyenneté (originaux des deux parents) comme la preuve de leur nationalité dans l'année le
demandeur est né. 2) Ceux qui sont nés en Chine doivent présenter: a) l'orignal du certificat de
naissance. b) le passeport et la carte de citoyenneté (originaux des deux parents) comme la preuve de
leur nationalité dans l'année le demandeur est né ou la carte RP du demandeur ou le documents
d'immigrations (originaux)
Vancouver: exigences particulières: Les demandeurs avec des passeports indiens appliquant à
Vancouver doivent présenter un relevé bancaire.
Documents supplémentaires sont nécessaires pour les différents types de visas - VOIR

• L VISA - TOURIST VISA - Issued to those who are going to travel to China for tourism or visit friends
and classmates, who are not close family members.
Required additional documents:
Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel
reservation for the complete duration of the trip from hotel(s) in China or on-line reservation, cruise
reservation or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China.The invitation letter
should contain:
(1) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
(2) Information on the planned visit (arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, etc.)
(3) Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official
stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual, Chinese ID copy (front and back)
of the inviting individual.
• L VISA - VISA TOURISTIQUE - Délivré à ceux qui vont se rendre en Chine pour le tourisme ou visiter
des amis et camarades de classe, qui ne sont pas membres de la famille proche.
Documents supplémentaires obligatoires:
Les documents montrant l'itinéraire incluant la réservation de billet d'avion (aller-retour) et la preuve
d'une réservation d'hôtel en Chine ou une réservation en ligne, une réservation de croisière ou une
lettre d'invitation émise par une entité ou individu chinois pertinent. La lettre doit contenir:
(1) Information sur le demandeur (nom, prénom, sexe, date de naissance, etc.)
(2) Information sur la visite prévue (arrivée, départ, place (s) à visiter, etc.)
(3) Informations sur l'entité d'accueil ou un individu (nom, numéro de téléphone, adresse, cachet officiel
, la signature du représentant légal ou de la personne invitante, une copie d'identité chinoise (recto et
verso) de la personne invitante.
• Q1 VISA -FAMILY VISA - Issued to those who are family members of Chinese citizens or of foreigners
with permanent residence status in China and intend to go to China for a long-term family reunion, or to
those who intend to go to China for the purposes of foster care (intended duration of stay in China
exceeding 180 days).
"Family members" refers to spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers,
sisters, grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law.
Required additional documents:
For family reunion, the following documents are required:
(1) An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreign citizen with a Chinese permanent
residence permit who lives in China. The invitation letter should contain:
a) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
b) Information on the visit ( purpose of visit, intended arrival date, place(s) of intended residence,
intended duration of residence, number of intended entries into China, arrival and departure dates,
relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or individual, financial source for expenditures)
c) Information on the inviting individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp,
signature of legal representative or the inviting individual, etc.)

(2) Photocopy of Chinese ID of the inviting individual or foreign passport and permanent residence
permit.
(3) Original and photocopy of certification (marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship
issued by Public Security Bureau or notarized certification of kinship) showing the relationship of family
members between applicant and inviting individual.
"Family members" refers to spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers,
sisters, grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law.
For foster care, the following documents are required:
(1)Foster entrustment notarization issued by Chinese Embassies/Consulates General in foreign
countries or Foster Care Power of Attorney notarized and authenticated in the country of residence or in
China
(2)Original and photocopy of the consignor's passport(s), as well as the original and photocopy of
certification (marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship issued by Public Security
Bureau or notarized certification of kinship) notarized and authenticated certification showing the
relationship between parents or guardians and children.
(3) A letter of consent on foster care issued by the trustee living in China who has agreed to provide
foster care services and a photocopy of the ID of the trustee.

Holders of Q1 Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry

Q2 VISA - FAMILY VISA - Issued to those who intend to visit relatives who are Chinese citizens
residing in China or foreigners with permanent residence status in China; the intended duration of stay
is limited to no more than 180 days.

(1) An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreign citizen with a Chinese permanent
residence permit who lives in China. The invitation letter should contain:

parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandsons,
granddaughters and parents-in-law.

M VISA - COMMERCE AND TRADE VISA - Issued to those who are invited to China for commercial
and trade activities (visiting clients, suppliers, visiting company branch or headquarters, handle
corporate related business).

(1) Documents on the commercial activity issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair invitation or
other invitation letters issued by relevant entity or individual. The invitation letter should contain:
a) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.).
b) Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, number of intended entries into China, arrival and
departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or

To qualify for Multiple Entry Business visa applicant must have completed two entries into China within
the last 24 months or have previously expired multiple entry visa in last 12 months and invitation letter
should explicitly state that multiple visa is required.
• F VISA - ÉCHANGES, VISITES, VOYAGES D'ÉTUDES ET D'AUTRES VISA D'ACTIVITÉ - Délivré à

by relevant Chinese entities.
(4) An approval document for commercial performances issued by the Chinese government authorities
for cultural affairs or Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Entity or Confirmation Letter of Invitation issued
by relevant Foreign Affairs Office of provincial governments of China.
(5)Letter of Invitation to Foreigners for Offshore Petroleum Operations in China issued by China
National Offshore Oil Corporation;
Holders of Z Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations
of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed
places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.
