Let’s meet at the Active Modes area, 14th to 16th of June
Transports Publics 2016 – The European Mobility Exhibition
Paris, Porte de Versailles
Club des villes et territoires cyclables is in charge of organizing and moderating the Espace des
Mobilités Actives (Active Modes area) at the Transports Publics 2016 fair. The so-called European
Mobility Exhibition will take place in Paris, Porte de Versailles from the 14 th to 16th of June. Club des
villes et territoires cyclables will notably organize and moderate a conference on the following topic:
bike-in-the-chain (cycling and public transport intermodality) in France and the Netherlands. This
conference will take place at the European area (Espace Europe) on the 16th of June.
3 days of meeting, exchange, information and innovation, on a space of over 600 m².
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
 An exhibition on the best services and products of active mobility (bike, bike sharing systems,
cargo-bike, bike parking, travel-in-the-chain systems, safety, intelligent transport systems,
etc.)
 6 conferences on the topic of active mobility
 Talent du Vélo 2016 rewarding ceremony
 Introduction of Vélo-city 2017 in Arnhem-Nijmegen, The Netherlands
 Lopifit testing area, a Dutch innovation at the crossroads of e-bike and conveyor belt
 Showcase of innovative and aesthetic bike accessories

(Mobility 3.0 – Let’s work on smart mobility)

 2.30 pm / 4.00 pm : Talents du Vélo 2016 – Rewarding ceremony
Talents du Vélo annual contest rewards any person over the age of majority, from any
nationality and from any status (employee, entrepreneur, volunteer, public officer or official
…) who contribute to the promotion of daily cycling. The competitors are assessed on the
exemplarity of the work they provide and on their commitment as regard to sustainable
mobility and citizenship.
The 2016’s edition of Talents du Vélo is organized in partnership with ADEME, Altinnova,
UNIVELO, FING and l’association des maires Villes & Banlieue
