You will be surprised how long you will keep your garden furniture by a
simple maintenance. During winter time the furniture should be put away
and depending on the weather conditions they should be maintained and
treated with oil once or twice a year.
New furniture disposes of a protecting base coat thanks to several
impregnations and this makes it possible for you to enjoy your furniture
for a long time, if you treat it well.

Hardwood oil for worn and faded surfaces in hardwood.
L’huile pour bois exotique est idéale pour les surfaces
défraichies de votre meuble en bois.
Contains colour pigments which will brighten the natural
colour of the wood.
The oil contains a fungicidal substance which provides a
superb protection against mould and putrefaction by the
woodfungus.
It protects the wood against UV-rays and makes the surface
strong and water-repellent.
Contient des pigments de couleurs qui raviveront la couleur
naturelle du bois.
L’huile contient également un fongicide qui apporte une
protection supplémentaire contre les moisissures et
champignons.

1. Apply the surface cleaner.

1. Moisten the furniture.
1. Humidifiez le meuble.
2. Let the base cleaner act on the furniture for a few minutes.

3. Scrub thoroughly with a brush.

4. Rinse the furniture thoroughly with clear water.

5. Check if all the dirt has been removed. If not, repeat steps 1-4 to
obtain a satisfying result.

W hen using a high- pressure cleaner
UTILISATION D’UN APPAREIL HAUTE-PRESSION
After applying the cleaner you can use a highpressure cleaner. Mind not to damage the furniture. Keep a distance of at least 15 cm between
the high-pressure cleaner and the wood.
Après avoir appliqué le nettoyant vous pouvez
utiliser un appareil haute-pression tout en évitant
d’endommager le meuble. Gardez une distance
d’au moins 15cm entre la surface du meuble et
l’embout de l’appareil.

Once the wood is dry, it may still be rough.

Sand the wood with a fine sandpaper.

Before you treat the furniture with oil, you
must make sure that the wooden surface is dry
and clean. In case of coloured oil, shake the tin
well before using. Apply the oil with a brush or
a cloth in an even covering coat. Then wait for
about 15-20 minutes.

Lorsque la surface est sèche, le bois pourrait
être rugueux. Poncez doucement la surface à
l’aide d’un papier sablé fin.

Avant de commencer l’application de l’huile,
vous devez vous assurer que la surface est
propre et sèche.
Appliquez uniformément
l’huile à l’aide d’un chiffon ou d’une éponge.
Laissez reposer pendant 15 à 20 minutes.

Essuyez toute accumulation d’huile à l’aide d’un
chiffon. Après 24 heures vous pourrez utiliser
à nouveau le meuble. Pendant ce temps, vous
devrez le protéger de la pluie. Pour un meuble
plus âgé, répétez les étapes 3 et 4.
Remove the overspill of oil with a cloth. You can
use the furniture after 24 hours. During this
time you should avoid any contact with water.
Repeat steps 3-4 for older garden furniture.

5/ POLISH
For a stunning result, it is recommended to polish the furniture with a soft
cotton cloth immediately after drying it.
6/ PUT AWAY DURING WINTER TIME
A dry and constantly ventilated area, like a garage or a car port , is an
ideal place to put away the furniture during winter time. Never cover the
furniture with plastic or anything similar, as this may cause putrefaction
and mould forming. Do not store wooden garden furniture in a warm, dry
place !!

Pour des meilleurs résultats, il est recommandé d’effectuer un polissage
du meuble à l’aide d’un chiffon doux immédiatement après le séchage.
6/ ENT R E P O SAGE
Un espace bien ventilé à l’abri des intempéries tel un garage ou un abri
de jardin sera l’endroit idéal pour l’entreposage de votre meuble durant la
période hivernale. Ne jamais couvrir le meuble de pellicule plastique ou
autres matières similaires. Ceci pourrait causer la formation de moisissures
et putréfaction. Ne jamais entreposer votre meuble patio en bois dans un
endroit chaud et sec !!
