The 94th “Lapham” comes to London, Ontario April 23rd.
Competition in the 2015 Lapham Grant Matches, hosted by the London Squash & Fitness club in London
Ontario, will begin play on Thursday evening April 23rd and run until noon Sunday April 26th. Matches
will feature top talent and experienced singles and doubles players (58 on each side) from across Canada
and the United States, each country vying to claim the tournament’s four trophies – The Lapham Cup
(singles); The Grant Trophy (Doubles); The Lawrence-Wilkins Trophy (65+); and the Crawford Trophy

The “Lapham” now in its 94th consecutive year of play is the longest annual team contest of any sport in
North American history. This occasion will mark the second time, since first played in 1977, that London
Squash hosts this prestigious event. A local volunteer committee led by Lapham Chair Jay Nash and by
Lapham Canadian Captain Lindsay Smith has been working diligently since late 2013 in preparation. For
the first time in Lapham history live streaming of singles and doubles matches will be available to
interested viewers at http://lg2015.polyscore.ca The Lapham is jointly administered by US Squash and
by the Jesters Club of Canada on behalf of Squash Canada. The composition of both teams is attached.

Les matches Lapham Grant, se dérouleront au London Squash & Fitness Club à London en Ontario, dès
jeudi le 23 avril en soirée et ce complètera dimanche midi le 26 avril. Cette épreuve verra un nombre
égal de 58 joueurs du Canada et aussi des États-Unis se mesurer talents et expérience en simple et en
double avec pour but de remporter plusieurs des quatres trophées soit le Lapham Cup (en simple), le
Grant (double), le Lawrence-Wilkins (65 ans et plus) et le Crawford (Femmes - simple et double). Pour en

Le « Lapham » qui en sera à sa 94ième année consécutive est la plus longue compétition sans interruption
par équipe de tous les sports en Amérique du Nord. L’occasion marquera seulement la seconde fois que
les membres du London Squash accueillent cette compétition d’envergure, la première fois retournant à
1977. Une équipe de volontaire dirigée par le président 2015 du Lapham, Jay Nash, et par le capitaine de
l’équipe canadienne du Lapham, Lindsay Smith, sont acharnés au travail depuis la fin de 2013 afin de
voir à tous les détails. Leurs travaux feront aussi de sorte que pour la première fois des matches de
simple et de double seront télédiffusés au plaisir des intéressés qui pourront suivre le tout sur
