Mounting advices
Bracket mounting (1)
The GPS bracket must be imperatively mounted on silent blocks, so
as to absorb vibrations.
The mechanical assembly will have thus to be flexible
and integrate the 4 provided silent blocks.
An empty area of 25 mm is necessary on the right side and of 5 mm
on the top of the support for the connections.
Power supply (2)
Main power supply :
The power supply will have to be protected by a fuse from a value from 3A and to deliver a controlled
tension ranging between 9 and 32 continuous volts.
Consumption under 12V :
- 220 mA with backlighting by default drive (60%).

Supply on internal battery :
Average autonomy with blacklighting “ON” and without external
battery :
- 4h with repeater.
- 9h without repeater.
Draw it
Compulsory emergency power : external battery pack
The battery pack must be connected to the matching entry of the power
cable. It is made of 6 batteries and provides a tension of 9V. The
waterproof packaging is specially designed, so batteries can not be
changed, or re-charged.
Total average autonomy : 11h30 without repeater.
With emergency power, the internal battery is not reloaded.
Cable and aerial (3-4)
A TNC type connector must be placed under the car aerial, which is fixed with an M18 wing (do not forget
to make a 20 mm-hole on the roof for the connector).
If you mount two GPS in the same vehicle, let at least 1m between the two aerials.
