The international journal Antiquité tardive aims at
enriching the study of written texts from the fourth
to the seventh centuries by contextualizing them using
a multidisciplinary approach (history, archaeology,
epigraphy, law and philology). Each issue focuses on
one specific subject, but also contains contributions
on other topics and a review section.
The international journal Judaïsme ancien / Ancient
Judaism is devoted to the study of all aspects of
Ancient Judaism (6th c. BCE – 9th c. CE) and the
interactions between Rabbinic Judaism, Christian
Judaism and Early Islam. On the brink between history and philology, the journal has a specific interest
in primary documentation and welcomes studies on
literature, archaeology and epigraphy, culture, religion
and sociology.

Semitica et classica welcomes contributions on a wide
range of domains in Eastern Mediterranean studies:
philology, archaeology, epigraphy, philosophy, history
and linguistics. The journal is particularly interested
in the interactions between the classical and Oriental
worlds in the period between the 2nd c. BCE and the
early centuries of Islam in the cultural area stretching
from the western Mediterranean to the Middle East
(Europe, Africa, Asia up to and including the Arabian
peninsula).
The leading international journal Revue d’Histoire des
Textes of the Institut de Recherche et d’Histoire des Textes
(Paris) focuses on texts written before 1500 from the
Latin, Greek, Romance and oriental textual traditions.
It welcomes preliminary material for critical editions as
well as studies and editions of short texts and of previously unpublished fragments. An index of all the manuscripts cited makes each volume a valuable tool for
authors of catalogues, cultural historians and all those
interested in the transmission of intellectual heritage.

The long-standing and renowned Giornale Italiano di
Filologia focuses on philology in its broadest sense.
Thus, the journal hosts contributions from linguists,
historians, experts of antiquities, editors and exegetes
of texts, as long as they discuss the Greek and Roman
world up to the Latin Middle Ages with forays into
Romance philology.
