Kassem K. Matt is a senior vice president and regional manager with Lancaster Pollard,
a financial services firm based in Columbus, Ohio, that specializes in providing capital
funding to the senior living, health care and affordable housing sectors. In addition to
underwriting tax-exempt bond offerings, Lancaster Pollard provides organizations a
complete range of funding options through its Fannie Mae/FHA/GNMA/USDA-approved,
mortgage lender subsidiary.
Mr. Matt is the Great Lakes East regional manager and the lead banker for Ohio.
As such, he is responsible for all underwriting and closing process details. He has a
thorough understanding of the various structures available through conventional bond
financing, FHA, Fannie Mae and USDA programs as well as 17 years of experience with
capital markets and corporate-banking services. Since joining Lancaster Pollard he has
underwritten transactions in excess of $1 billion.

Mr. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University and an MBA
from Cleveland State University. He is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Columbus. He holds
a General Securities Representative (Series 7) and General Securities Principal (Series
24) licenses. Mr. Matt is a frequent speaker on capital access for health care providers at
both state and national events.
