PLANTATION DE CANNABIS

IN A CANNABIS PLANTATION
Deux (2) hommes de Gatineau, Dany
Vaillancourt, 33 ans, et Denis Brousseau 47
ans, ont comparu aujourd’hui en Cour afin de
faire face à des accusations de production de
stupéfiants et de possession dans le but d’en
faire le trafic. Ceux-ci furent arrêtés hier matin,
vers 09 h 30, alors qu’ils se trouvaient sur les
lieux d’une serre de cannabis intérieure de 460
plants située au 3, chemin Smith, à Val-desMonts.
Two (2) Gatineau men, Dany Vaillancourt, 33
years old, and Denis Brousseau, 47 years old,
both known to police, appeared in Court today
in order to answer to charges of drug
production and possession for the purpose of
trafficking.
They were arrested yesterday
morning, around 09:30 hrs, while on site of an
indoor cannabis plantation containing 460
plants, located at 3 Smith Road, in Val-desMonts.
À la grande surprise des policiers, un jeune
garçon de trois (3) ans se trouvait aussi sur
place. Celui-ci est l’enfant de l’homme de 33
ans, aussi considéré comme la présumée tête
dirigeante du réseau.
To the surprise of the police officers, there was
also a three (3) year old boy on site. He is the
child of the 33 year old man, also considered
as the alleged head of the network.
L’appartement de ce même homme, situé au 83,
rue De Sillery, à Gatineau, fut aussi
perquisitionné par nos policiers, où cent vingt
(120) grammes de cocaïne et 2 700 $ en argent
comptant furent trouvés.
As a result of a search conducted by police at
this man’s apartment, located at 83 De Sillery
Street, in Gatineau, one hundred and twenty
(120) grams of cocaine and $2,700.00 in cash
were found.
Les policiers ont demandé au Procureur de la
Couronne de s’objecter à leur remise en liberté
puisque ceux-ci sont déjà en attente d’un procès
pour des actes similaires survenus à Val-desMonts en avril 2013.
Officers asked the Crown Prosecutor to object
to their release since they are already awaiting
for a trial for similar charges which occurred in
Val-des-Monts in April 2013.
