L’automne est ma saison préféré de l’année, lorsque les
feuilles commencent leur transformation pour leurs
nuances superbes d’orange, rouge, et jaune. Pour complimenter ce feuillage d’automne spectaculaire,

Fall is my favourite time of the year, when the trees shed
their lush summer greens for stunning shades of orange,
red, and yellow. In counterpoint to this spectacular fall
palette, we have prepared a program filled with workshops, weekly classes, services, and other events that
have been designed to challenge you for a better life experience in the spirit. Join us as we journey down the

Mary Swaine, PhD, is a naturopath, psychotherapist,
colour and sound therapist, herbal therapist, massage

the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex in the N.D.G. borough. She teaches self-development and therapies
worldwide, and has authored five therapy books, 11
children’s books, and three CDs. Mary sees people as
energy beings, perceiving their bodies, emotions,
thoughts, relationships, and so on as energies in various colours, forms, and patterns. Her therapies encourage patients to become more aware of their true selves.

Healing Emotional Trauma
What is Emotional Trauma? Emotional Trauma is any
and all painful and negative emotions: fear, anxiety, depression, anger, irritability, pity, guilt, worry, sadness,
grief, despair, etc. All negative emotions are gifts; a
road to the hidden and undiscovered self. Learn simple
methods to help the physical body and the psyche handle and heal all painful and negative emotions. Course
content includes an in-depth exploration of the nature
of the emotional life; specific emotional traumas and
related healing methods; emergency measures to help
the body handle emotional trauma; and penultimate
causes and cures.

you looking for a new healing modality
to support your present health regime?
Every day, more and more complementary health care techniques become available. O en these can be self-applied and
offer a more active role in overall healing. But with so many
choices, it can be difficult to know what is available, how it
works or where to nd it.
Magnetism: Energy Work Using the Hands
This workshop includes polarity; clearing, balancing
and energizing the Chakras and Auric Field; Therapeutic Touch; and Lunar, Venusian, Mercurial and Solar Magnetism techniques. This is a multi-dimensional healing
course, using many different types of magnetism/therapeutic touch. We work with the physical,
emotional, mental, interdimensional, soul, and spiritual
bodies, including the higher Mental, Guide, Monadic
and Form Levels, and the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Dimensions.

Join Susan Campbell-Fournel, MEd, for
We all want to make our lives better
and easier. Yet often we find ourselves in turmoil and disarray. Why
is this so? It seems like something is
controlling our actions; we can’t
quite make things right again.
In this workshop, we postulate that action creates
change, and that the key to
a successful life is to act
upon the life enhancing
frequencies and energies
that are already in the universe for our use.
We will first examine our
own thoughts, intents, and
beliefs, to determine which
ones are harmful to our
well-being. Then we will act
to remove them from mind,
body, and spirit. With this
cleansing process completed, we can act to invoke
the universe’s life enhancing frequencies and energies.
We’ll look at each individual component of mind, body and spirit, as
well as their interconnectedness. For
example, if we desire to heal the
body, we cannot do so if we hold the
belief that we cannot do so. This
harmful belief, which is often buried

Deep Relaxation: The Stepping Stone to the Higher
Mind
For over 50 years, Prof. J. H. Schultz researched the mindbody connection. His aim was to teach his clients how to
harmonize right-left brain functions for physical, emotional,
mental, and spiritual well being. To balance the two brain
hemispheres and to navigate brainwaves with ease, Schultz
devised an exercise sequence called Autogenic Training.
Each of its six exercises addresses a different domain of the
body: the muscles, the vascular system, the heart, the respiratory system, the abdominal organs, and the head. This tenpart training series guides the trainee progressively through
deceptively simple exercises to address personal concerns.
Over time, the trainee learns “to throw the central switch” in
the brain — the “switch” between the sympathetic and the
parasympathetic nervous system — at will and with ease.

Africa Project
in Assisting South African
Caregivers and Institutions
for Abandoned, Abused,
and Sick Children
Each year in December, the International Institute of Integral Human Sciences sends a mission team to Africa,
to assist South African caregivers and institutions who
have rescued and taken-in abandoned, abused, and sick
children. We work with the Takalani Center in Soweto,
which harbours 1,000 children and adults, the Helen
Bishop School for the Physically Challenged in
Kimberly, with 400 children, the Thuson Home for Abandoned Children also in Kimberly, with 165 children, and
the African Independent Orthodox Church, which
serves thousands of the poorest of the poor, over a 400
km area. We bring encouragement and volunteer service
with the caregivers, and provide donation cheques and
lots and lots of food, clothes, toys, supplies, and equipment for the handicapped, abandoned, dying, abused, orphaned, and suffering children.
All of the directors of these organizations are efficient,
dedicated, and knowledgeable, but, of course, they lack
funds. Care is often limited to the basics of feeding, turning (for the bed-ridden), and bathing.
The IIIHS hopes you will help us to bring relief to these
precious children, through your generous donations.
