Questo manuale è inteso come una guida rapida, pertanto per
ulteriori dettagli sulla configurazione fare riferimento al
manuale esteso presente sul CD.

1.3 Installazione del Wireless USB
Adapter
Prima di installare l’USB Wireless Adapter è necessario installare
l’utility fornita a corredo, procedere quindi come segue:
• Assicurarsi che il Wireless USB Adapter non sia inserito
nel connettore USB.
• Accendere il PC ed inserire il Cd-Rom di installazione
• Lanciare l’applicativo D:\SETUP.EXE (dove D è la lettera
dell’unità CD-ROM contenente il CD di installazione)
Le immagini riportate in questo manuale sono state tratte
da un sistema operativo Windows XP, per l’installazione
su altri sistemi Microsoft la procedura rimane comunque
la stessa.
Seguire ora la procedura di installazione di installazione:
1. Una volta avviato l’InstallShield Cliccare su “Next”.

Cliccare su “Next” per confermare la cartella in cui
installare eseguire l’installazione.

Cliccare su “Next” per confermare la cartella che verrà
aggiunta nell’ elenco programmi di Windows.
Attendere il completamento dell’installazione.

Cliccare su “Finish” per completare l’installazione. Il
Sistema Operativo verrà riavviato.
Ora è possibile inserire il Wireless USB Adapter
nell’ apposito connettore USB, il sistema rileverà
automaticamente la periferica e avvierà la procedura di
installazione del driver.
Selezionare la prima opzione e cliccare sul “Avanti”.

Cliccare su “Continua” per continuare.

Cliccare su “Fine” per completare l’installazione del
nuovo hardware.
Se l’installazione è avvenuta correttamente sul desktop apparirà
un’icona identica a quella riportata nella figura che segue.
Cliccando su di essa verrà lanciata l’utility di gestione del Wireless
USB Adapter. Per ulteriori dettagli sulla configurazione fare
riferimento almanuale completo presente sul CD allegato.
Se il gestore predefinito delle connessioni Wireless è
quello di Windows disabilitarlo (cliccare 2 volte
sull’icona connessione di rete senza fili nella barra,
scegliere avanzate e disabilitare la dicitura: Usa
Windows per configurare le impostazioni di rete
senza fili) per utilizzare il tool di gestione fornito a
corredo.

Alternativamente cliccare sull’icona Wireless per
accedere all’utility e disabilitare la dicitura Usa

The Power LED will be ON when the unit
is powered up.
WLAN
The Link LED will be Blinking indicates a
WLAN connection.

1.3 Installing Your Wireless USB
Adapter
Before insert Wireless USB Adapter cable into the PC USB of
your computer , please install the Utility Program first.
• Make sure that the 802.11g Wireless Mini USB Adapter
cable is NOT inserted into the USB slot.
• Turn on the PC and insert the installation Cd-Rom
• Lunch the installation utility (CDRom:\Setup.exe)
All the captured images of installation mentioned in this
user’s manual are based on Windows XP operating
system. For other windows operating system (Windows
98 or ME), all the procedures are the same but the
screens are not the exactly same.
Follow the installation procedure:
1. Click “Next”.

Click “Next” to install the program files in the default
folder.

Please turn off your computer and then insert the Mini
USB Adapter cable into the USB slot. Turn on your
computer and start to install the driver.

Once the installation is successful, a utility program icon will show
on your desktop. To lunch the utility, just double click the icon.
For more detailed instructions on configuring and using the
Wireless USB Adapter, please refer to the online manual.
Windows XP has built-in support for wireless
networking utility. After the installation, 2 icons will
appear in the "System Tray". Click twice on the network
connection icon, then click on “Next”, then at the menu
“Network wireless” and lately disactivate “Use
Windows for setting wireless network”.

Ce guide d’installation rapide vous permet d’installer et de
configurer le Wireless USB Adapter suivant des paramètres
standards. Pour plus de précisions reportez-vous au manuel
sous format électronique (PDF) disponible sur le CD Rom
fourni.
1.1 Contenu de la boîte
Avant l’installation, assurez-vous de disposer des éléments
suivants : Wireless USB Adapter, câble USB, CD-Rom avec les
pilotes et l’utilitaire de l’adaptateur et la documentation complète
au format PDF et une guide d’installation rapide.

1.3 Installation du Wireless USB
Adapter
Avant d’installer le Wireless USB Adapter il est nécessaire
d’installer l’utility fourni avec le produit, avancez donc comme ça:
• Assurez-vous que l’adaptateur USB n’est pas inséré dans le
connecteur USB.
• Allumez l’ordinateur
d’installation
et
introduisez
le
Cd-Rom
• Exécutez l’application CDRom\SETUP.EXE(se trouve à la
racine du CD-ROM). Le lancement n’est pas
automatique.
Les images reportées dans ce manuel ont étés prises d’un
système d’exploitation Windows XP, pour l’installation
sur autres systèmes Microsoft la procédure reste quand
même identique.

Suivez maintenant la suivante procédure d’installation:
1. L’installation débute, cliquez sur “Next”

Cliquez sur “Next” pour installer les logiciels de
l’adaptateur USB dans le dossier par défaut.

Cliquez sur “Next” et attendez la fin de l’installation.

Cliquez sur “Finish” pour compléter l’installation et pour
redémarrer l’ordinateur.
Prenez l’Adaptateur USB et branchez-le directement sur
l’un des connecteurs USB de votre PC
Windows vous indique qu’il a découvert le nouveau
matériel.
Sélectionnez
“Installez
le
logiciel
automatiquement” (recommandé), puis cliquez sur
Suivant.

L’écran suivant apparaît. Cliquez sur Continuer.

Une fenêtre vous indique que le pilote et l’utilitaire ont
bien été installés. Cliquez sur Terminer.

Si l’installation est passée correctement, sur le desktop apparaîtra
une icône identique à celle reportée dans l’image. Pour plus de
précisions, tant sur les méthodes de configuration que sur le
paramétrage avancé, reportez-vous au manuel sous format
électronique (PDF) disponible sur le CD Rom fourni.
Windows XP dispose nativement du support pour les
réseaux sans fils. Si l’icône n’apparaît pas, effectuez un
double-clic sur le raccourci 802.11g Wireless Mini USB
adapter qui a été créé sur votre bureau.
Une fois l’utilitaire installé, 2 icônes doivent apparaître
dans la barre des tâches. Cliquez 2 fois sur l’icone pour
accéder à l’utilitaire. Dans la fenetre il faut décocher
l’option Utiliser Windows pour configurer mon
réseau sans fil, puis cliquez sur OK.
Effectuez enfin un double-clic sur l’icône pour lancer
l’utilitaire.

1.3 Installation der Wireless USB
Adapter
Bevor Sie die wireless USB installieren, sollen Sie die gegebene
Utility installieren, dann machen Sie wie folgt:
• Versichern Sie sich, dass die wireless USB nicht im USB
Connector eingefügt ist.
• Schalten Sie den PC ein, und stecken Sie die Installations
Cd-Rom.
• Drücken Sie auf CDROm:\Setup.exe
Die Bilden, die in diesem Handbuch sind, sind von
einem Wirkungssystem Windows XP genommen
worden, für die Installation auf anderen Microsoft
Systeme bleibt dieselbe Prozedur.
Folgen Sie jetzt die Installationsprozedur:
