Low frequency beacon
The teleCARE IP systems uses low frequency (LF) location beacons to
determine where the residents or patients are. The resident transceiver
stores the identity code of the LF beacon when a resident passes. When a
resident alarm goes off the LF beacon identity code tells you the position
of the calling resident.
Easy deployment
The slim design of our new LF beacons is both practical and can easily fit in
to any environment. The beacon is battery powered (mains powering is
optional) and has an internal antenna. It is also possible to combine two
units that can work together (according to the Master-Slave principle) if
you wish to cover a larger area.
Scalable technology
The Ascom location technology is very scalable. Let your needs determine
how precise the location should be. For example, if you want to monitor a
number of doors they’ll need one LF beacon and if you want to monitor a
certain zone you’ll use one LF beacon for each zone.
Feel secure
You can feel secure when you use the LF beacon in your everyday work.
If your needs require you can choose to install an additional supervision
transceiver. When supervision is installed the LF beacon is monitored for
operation and if someone tries to open it a tamper alarm is transmitted.
