PURPOSE The purpose of this advice filing is to extend the sunset date of SCE’s Schedule EDR-R to the date the California Public Utilities Commission (Commission) issues a final decision in Application No. (A.) 09-10-012. BACKGROUND On October 13, 2009, SCE filed A.09-10-012 seeking authority to extend the sunset date of its Schedule EDR-R. Ordering Paragraph 2 of Decision 05-09-018 required SCE to sunset its Schedule EDR-R on December 31, 2009. On December 21, 2009, in a letter to the Commission’s Executive Director SCE requested extension of Schedule EDR-R’s sunset date until the Commission issues a final decision in A.09-10-012. On December 23, 2009, the Commission’s Executive Director found SCE’s request reasonable and granted SCE’s request. Therefore, in this advice filing SCE is providing the necessary modifications to Schedule EDR-R to extend the sunset date of this schedule. No cost information is required for this advice filing. This advice filing will not increase any rate or charge, cause the withdrawal of service, or conflict with any other schedule or rule. P.O. The customer must demonstrate to the satisfaction of SCE that relocation of its entire operations or a qualified portion of their operations which consists of load of at least 200 kW, to a site outside of California is a viable alternative or that closure of the customer’s existing facilities is otherwise eminent. Additionally, the customer must sign an affidavit attesting to the fact that “but for” this discount, either on its own or in combination with a package of incentives made available to the customer from other sources, the customer would not have retained load within the State of California. This Schedule is not applicable to state and local government customers or residential customers. This Schedule will remain open to new participants until the California Public Utilities Commission issues a final decision in Application 09-10-012. The total accumulated contract demand on Schedules EDR-R, EDR-E, and EDR-A, at any point in time for active agreements, shall not exceed 100 MW (megawatts). (T) (T) Customers must be served under General Service rate Schedule. Customers subject to the Environmental Pricing Credit agreement may not take service under this Schedule. Customers served under this Schedule are not eligible for service under Schedule EDR-A or Schedule EDR-E. TERRITORY Within the entire territory served.
