Two titles and an incredible formation finish in the lead

W
hat a weekend for the Sodi chassis, which won both in the most competitive category of international karting and in the most popular category in the world. While Jérémy Iglesias triumphed
in the final of the European KZ Championship at Genk, Vincent Fraïsse in Rotax Max and Olivier
Paris in Rotax Master became French Champions at Ancenis. For the French manufacturer, the objective of
providing effective chassis for all customers, whatever their level, was reached in the most beautiful way!
Nearly 800km away, the colours of the world’s
leading manufacturer of karts shone in very
different circumstances, demonstrating the
versatility and effectiveness of the Sodi chassis
on all tracks and with different types of tyres.
At Genk in Belgium, Jeremy Iglesias won the
last round of the European KZ Championship
without any doubt. He was ahead of the last
two European Champions of the discipline! «I
had already identified the huge potential of the Sodi
chassis at a round of the German Championship
where I learned about my new equipment. It is very
easy to begin with and very competitive. The CPB
Sport team should not regret the choice to work with
Sodi. Winning with a private team is the best proof of
the quality of a frame,» confided Jérémy at the end.
In the Prefinal, we even saw three Sodi chassis in
the top 10. Anthony Abbasse and Arnaud Kozlinski
were also fast in the Finals with good chances to
get on the podium, but success was not really on
their side in Belgium.

At the French Championship at Ancenis, Sodi was
able to rejoice in the extraordinary results for all
of its chassis. In Rotax Max and Rotax Master,
three Sodi chassis were in the top four and victory
in both categories! In the younger class, Vincent
Fraisse delivered an incredible performance: pole
position, victory in his four heats and the title won
after the three Finals despite a crash in the second!
Adrien Renaudin joined him on the podium in 3rd
place, just ahead of Nicolas Picot. Cécile Martini
also joined the top 10 with her Sodi chassis!
In the over 32 years class, Olivier Paris managed
the same performance as Fraïsse: taking another
national crown, as he did in 2013, and again on
a Sodi chassis. By winning the last Final, Franck
Rouxel took 3rd place ahead of Jacques Gautier. In
6th, Thomas Mettetal put a fourth Sodi in the top
six in the final standings of Rotax Master.

uel week-end pour les châssis Sodi, qui ont gagné à la fois dans la catégorie la plus compétitive
du karting international et dans la catégorie la plus populaire dans le monde. Pendant que Jérémy
Iglesias triomphait lors du final du Championnat d’Europe KZ à Genk, Vincent Fraïsse en Rotax Max
et Olivier Paris en Rotax Master devenaient Champions de France à Ancenis. Pour le constructeur français,
l’objectif de fournir des châssis performants à tous ses clients, quel que soit leur niveau, a été atteint de
la plus belle des manières !
A près de 800 km de distance, les couleurs du
premier constructeur mondial de karts ont brillé
dans des circonstances bien différentes, démontrant la polyvalence et l’efficacité des châssis
Sodi sur tous les circuits et avec différents types
de pneumatiques. A Genk en Belgique, Jérémy
Iglesias a remporté sans contestation possible
la dernière épreuve du Championnat d’Europe
KZ1. Il s’est permis de devancer les deux derniers
Champions d’Europe de la discipline ! “J’avais
déjà décelé l’énorme potentiel du châssis Sodi
lors d’une manche du Championnat d’Allemagne
où j’ai découvert mon nouveau matériel. Il est
très facile à prendre en mains et très compétitif.
L’équipe CPB Sport ne doit pas regretter son choix
de collaborer avec Sodi. Gagner avec une équipe
privée, c’est la meilleure preuve de la qualité d’un
châssis”, confiait Jérémy à l’arrivée.
En préfinale, on pointait même trois châssis Sodi
dans les 10 premiers. Anthony Abbasse et Arnaud
Kozlinski se sont également élancés en finale avec
de bonnes chances de monter sur le podium, mais
la réussite n’était pas vraiment de leur côté en
Belgique.

un incroyable tir groupé
aux avant-postes
Au Championnat de France à Ancenis, Sodi a pu se
réjouir de l’extraordinaire résultat d’ensemble de
ses châssis. En Rotax Max comme en Rotax Master,
on a retrouvé trois châssis Sodi dans les quatre
premiers et la victoire dans les deux catégories !
Chez les plus jeunes, Vincent Fraïsse a livré une
incroyable prestation: pole position, victoire dans
ses quatre manches et titre acquis à l’issue des
trois finales malgré un incident dans la deuxième
! Adrien Renaudin l’a rejoint sur la 3e marche du
podium, juste devant Nicolas Picot. Cécile Martini
intégrait aussi le top-10 avec son châssis Sodi !
Chez les plus de 32 ans, Olivier Paris a réussi la
même performance que Fraïsse: coiffer une nouvelle couronne nationale, comme en 2013, et de
nouveau avec un châssis Sodi bien sûr. En remportant la dernière finale, Franck Rouxel accédait à la
3e place devant Jacques Gautier. Sixième, Thomas
Mettetal plaçait un quatrième Sodi dans le top-6 au
classement final Rotax Master.
L’usine Sodikart tient à féliciter toutes les équipes
qui ont contribué à ce week-end d’excellence pour
la marque française, plus que jamais prête à relever
de nouveaux challenges dans tous les domaines...
