VOYAGE ET LIEU DU COLLOQUE

Gagner Paris depuis les aéroports
Depuis l’aéroport Roissy-Charles de Gaulle. L’aéroport Charles de Gaulle accueille la plus
grande partie des vols internationaux. Depuis cet aéroport, on peut gagner Paris en bus, en
train, ou évidemment en taxi mais l’aéroport est éloigné du centre de Paris, donc la course
coûteuse.
- Les bus “Roissybus“, qui desservent tous les terminaux de Charles de Gaulle, conduisent
dans le quartier de l’Opéra, d’où l’on peut prendre le métro ou un taxi. (45 à 60 mn, 9 €)
- les bus Air France. 5 lignes différentes. La ligne 4 conduit à Montparnasse, quartier où
se tient notre colloque, et d’où vous pourrez gagner facilement votre hôtel, à pied ou en taxi.
(aller simple 14 €. Aller retour 22 €)
- Le RER est un train qui correspond avec le métro. La gare de l’aéroport Charles de Gaulle,
où l’on peut prendre le RER, est située dans le terminal 2, Le RER s’arrête aussi au terminal
1. Certains trains RER sont directs jusqu’à Paris, d’autres s’arrêtent à toutes les gares de
banlieue. À la station Châtelet-Les Halles, on peut changer pour de nombreuses lignes de
métro. (trajet 30 à 40 minutes pour le centre de Paris, 8,20 €)
Depuis l’aéroport d’Orly, on peut prendre
- le bus “Orlybus“ qui conduit à la place Denfert-Rochereau, dans le sud de Paris
(correspondance avec le métro)
- ou le train OrlyVal qui mène à Antony (8 minutes) puis, depuis Antony, le RER jusqu’à
Denfert-Rochereau (15 minutes) ou Châtelet-Les Halles (25 minutes), où l’on peut prendre
le métro. (Trajet Orly-Paris : 9,30 €)
Pour circuler dans Paris pendant plusieurs jours à raison de deux ou trois voyages par jour, la
meilleure formule est le carnet de 10 tickets (11,10 €, soit 1,10€ le trajet). Le billet quotidien
Mobilis devient rentable à partir de 5 trajets journaliers.

Localisation du colloque :
Le colloque se tient à l’EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales), 105
boulevard Raspail, dans le 6e arrondissement de Paris (75006), à mi-chemin entre le
jardin du Luxembourg et la gare Montparnasse. Vous pouvez localiser cette adresse sur
Google, Mapy ou ViaMichelin (http://www.viamichelin.fr/)
Pour vous y rendre :
- en métro : ligne 12, station Notre-Dame des Champs, ou ligne 4, station Saint-Placide (voir
plan).
- en bus, ligne 68 (arrêt Notre-Dame des Champs) ou 91 (arrêt Rennes Saint-Placide), et bien
d’autres à proximité, voir excellent plan des bus interactif sur
http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/cartebus.php
Attention, le 105 n’est pas le bâtiment principal de l’École (celui-ci est situé au 54 bd Raspail).
Au 105 boulevard Raspail, traverser la cour, entrer au fond de la cour et tourner à droite à
l’intérieur. Le colloque sera fléché.

How to reach Paris from the airports
From Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport. This airport welcomes most international flights.
From the airport you can reach Paris by bus, by train, or by taxi. However, the airport is
situated some distance from the city, so by taxi the trip will be expensive.
- Buses (the “Roissybus”) call at all airport terminals. They go to the Opera area, from where
you can take a metro or a taxi. Buses take around 45 to 60 minutes and they cost 9 €.
- There are also Air France buses to Paris. There are five different lines. Line number 4
goes to Montparnasse, the area where our conference will be held. From there, you‘ll be
able to walk to your hotel or to take a taxi. For a single ticket they cost 14 €. For a return 22 €.
- The RER is a train that links with the métro (underground, signposted M). It leaves from
the Charles de Gaulle airport railway station, terminal 2 and calls at terminal 1 as well. Some
RER trains travel direct to Paris, while other stop at every station. Once in Paris, alight at
Châtelet station, where you can change for many métro lines. The RER takes 30 to 40
minutes to the centre of Paris, and it costs 8.20 €.
From Orly airport.
- The bus “Orlybus”, which goes to place Denfert-Rochereau, in the south of Paris (with links
to the métro)
- The train “OrlyVal”, which goes to Antony (8 minutes) and links with RER (see above) that
you take until Denfert-Rochereau (15 minutes) or Châtelet-Les Halles (25 minutes) where you
can take the métro. The trip from Orly to Paris by OrlyVal and RER costs 9,30 €.
To travel around Paris for several days, with a maximum of four trips per day, it is best to buy
a ten ticket booklet – it costs 11.10 € or 1.10 € per trip. The tickets are valid for both the
metro and buses. If you intend to make more than four trips per day, it is cheaper to buy a
daily ticket called Mobilis.

The conference will be held at EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales),
105 boulevard Raspail, in the 6th district of Paris (75006), halfway between the Jardin du
Luxembourg and the Montparnasse railway station. You can locate this address on Google,
Mappy or ViaMichelin (http://www.viamichelin.fr/)

- by métro : line 12, station Notre dame des Champs, or line 4, station Saint-Placide (see
map).
- by bus : line 68, stop Notre dame des Champs, or line 91, stop Saint-Placide, and many

Please note that 105 boulevard Raspail is not the main building of EHESS (situated on 54
boulevard Raspail), but an annex.
At 105 boulevard Raspail, cross the yard, use the entrance at the end of the yard, and once
inside turn right. The conference will be signposted.
