INFORMATIONS SOCIALES SOCIAL INFORMATION Par By Pierre-Jean Leca LE RÉGIME DANOIS DE SÉCURITÉ SOCIALE La protection sociale danoise couvre contre tous les risques (maladie, maternité, accidents du travail et maladies professionnelles, invalidité, vieillesse, survivants, chômage et prestations familiales). Les assurances maladie, maternité, invalidité-vieillessesurvivants (pensions sociales) et prestations familiales sont financées par l’impôt. Maladie : Toute personne ayant la qualité de résident au Danemark peut bénéficier des soins de santé. Chaque bénéficiaire reçoit gratuitement une carte de santé qui doit être présentée à chaque visite chez le médecin. L’assuré danois peut opter une fois par an entre deux catégories de type de soins chez le médecin. La participation de l’assuré dépend de ses frais pharmaceutiques au cours d’une année. Prestations Familiales : Les allocations familiales sont accordées aux parents ayant à leur charge un enfant âgé de moins de 18 ans à condition d’être imposable au Danemark. THE DANISH SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM The Danish social security system covers all types of risks (sickness, maternity, work-related accidents and illnesses, disability, old age, survivors, unemployment and family allowances). Sickness insurance, maternity, disability-old age-survivors (social pensions) and family allowances are financed by taxes. Sickness: All persons who are residents in Denmark can benefit from health treatment. Every beneficiary receives a free health card that must be presented at every medical visit. Danish beneficiaries can choose, once a year, between two categories of medical treatment. By choosing category 1, the beneficiary can choose an approved physician and does not pay any contribution.
