Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Proper use
Das Produkt ist zum Einbau in einen PC-kompatiblen Computer vorgesehen und stellt dort einen PCMCIAEinschub zur Verfügung.

Einbau
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau besitzen, so lassen Sie den Einbau von einer
FACHKRAFT oder einer entsprechenden Fachwerkstatt durchführen!
Durch unsachgemäßen Einbau wird sowohl die PCI-Karte als auch Ihr Computer und alle
angeschlossenen Geräte beschädigt.
Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie den Computer, in den die PCI-Karte eingebaut werden soll und alle angeschlossenen Geräte aus und trennen Sie alle Geräte von der Netzspannung, ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker! Das Ausschalten über den Ein-/Ausschalter genügt nicht!

Installation
In case you do not have the expertise for installation, have the installation performed by a
TECHNICIAN or a suitable technical shop!
The PCI card, as well as your computer and all connected devices, will become damaged
by an incorrect installation.
Caution, mortal danger!
Switch off the computer intended for the PCI card installation and all connected devices.
Disconnect all devices and power cables from the power supply outlet. Turning off the
on/off power switch does not suffice!
• Open the case of your computer and carefully remove the casing cover.
• Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers und nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel vorsichtig ab.
• Suchen Sie einen freien PCI-Steckplatz, entfernen Sie das zugehörige Slotblech und stecken Sie die PCIKarte in den PCI-Slot ein. Schrauben Sie die Steckkarte fest, kontrollieren Sie den korrekten Sitz im PCI-Slot!
• Locate an open PCI slot, remove the corresponding slot plate and insert the PCI card into the PCI slot.
Securely fasten the card and correctly position it in the PCI slot.
• Close the PC case.
• Verschließen Sie das PC-Gehäuse wieder.
• Connect your computer and monitor with the power supply and switch off all devices.
• Verbinden Sie Ihren Computer und Monitor mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie alle Geräte ein.
• Startet Ihr Computer nicht korrekt, so schalten Sie ihn sofort aus und kontrollieren Sie sämtliche
Einstellungen und Kabelverbindungen.
• If your computer does not start correctly, immediately switch it off and check all settings and cable connections.
Before opening your PC again, disconnect it from the power supply (see above)!
Vor dem erneuten Öffnen des PCs ist der PC von der Netzspannung zu trennen, siehe oben!
Treiber-Installation
Windows erkennt die Steckkarte automatisch. Alle benötigten Treiber sind in Windows enthalten, deshalb
liegt kein Datenträger bei.
Folgen Sie allen Anweisungen von Windows. Bei Windows 98/ME ist anschließend ein Neustart des Systems
erforderlich.
Einstecken/Entfernen einer PCMCIA-Karte
Schieben Sie die PCMCIA-Karte in korrekter Orientierung in den Einschub der PCI-Karte. Dabei braucht der
PC nicht ausgeschaltet werden.
Stecken Sie die PCMCIA-Karte nicht um 180° gedreht ein, wenden Sie beim Einschieben keine
Gewalt an, die PCMCIA-Karte und die PCI-Karte wird dadurch beschädigt, Garantieverlust!
Driver installation
Windows automatically recognises the PC card. All necessary drivers are included in Windows, therefore no
such data is enclosed.
Follow the instructions from Windows. With Windows 98ME, a system restart is necessary.
Inserting/removing a PCMCIA card
Slide the PCMCIA card into the slot for PCI card insert. The PC does not need to be switched off.
Do not insert the PCMCIA card turned at 180° or with force. Otherwise the PCMCIA and PCI cards
will be damaged and the warranty will become void!
Next the driver must be installed for the respective PCMCIA card. Observe the instructions for the PCMCIA
card.
Danach ist je nach PCMCIA-Karte deren Treiberinstallation durchzuführen. Beachten Sie die Anleitung der
PCMCIA-Karte.
To eject the PCMCIA card, carefully press the eject button until the PCMCIA card comes out slightly. Now
carefully pull out the card from the PCI card insert.
Zum Auswerfen der PCMCIA-Karte drücken Sie vorsichtig auf den Auswurfknopf, bis die PCMCIA-Karte ein
Stück herausgeschoben wird. Ziehen Sie sie nun vorsichtig aus dem Einschub der PCI-Karte heraus.
If you remove a PCMCIA card during operation of the PC, depending on the PCMCIA card, this can result in
data loss.
Observe the instructions of the PCMCIA card for more information.
In the taskbar there often appears an icon with an arrow for safely removing the PCMCIA card from the system.
Wenn Sie eine PCMCIA-Karte während dem Betrieb des PCs entnehmen wollen, so kann dies je nach
PCMCIA-Karte zu Datenverlust führen.

Oft wird in der Menüleiste ein Icon mit einem Pfeil eingeblendet, über das die PCMCIA-Karte gefahrlos aus
dem System entfernt werden kann.

Montage
Dans la mesure où vous ne disposez pas des connaissances spécialisées nécessaires pour
le montage, veuillez confier cette opération à un SPECIALISTE ou à un atelier spécialisé !
Un montage incorrect est non seulement susceptible d'endommager la carte d’extension
mais aussi votre ordinateur ainsi que tous les périphériques qui y sont connectés.
Attention, danger de mort !
Eteignez l'ordinateur devant accueillir la platine ainsi que tous les appareils raccordés puis
débranchez-les du secteur en retirant les fiches des prises de courant ! La mise hors circuit de l'appareil par le biais de l'interrupteur marche/arrêt ne suffit pas!
• Ouvrez le boîtier de votre ordinateur et déposez son couvercle avec précaution.
• Recherchez un slot PCI libre, retirez la tôle du slot correspondant puis enfichez la carte PCI dans le slot
PCI. Vissez à fond la carte d’extension, vérifiez le logement correct dans le slot PCI !
• Refermez le boîtier de l´ordinateur.
• Connectez votre ordinateur et votre moniteur à la prise secteur, puis allumez tous les appareils.
• Dans la mesure où votre ordinateur ne démarre pas correctement, éteignez-le immédiatement et contrôlez tous les réglages, ainsi que tous les câbles de connexion.
Avant d'ouvrir à nouveau le boîtier de votre PC, le débrancher de l'alimentation secteur, voir plus
haut !
Installation des pilotes
Windows détecte automatiquement la carte d´extension. Tous les pilotes nécessaires sont contenus dans
Windows, c´est pourquoi il n´y a pas de support de données.
Suivez toutes les instructions de Windows. Pour Windows 98/ME, il faut ensuite faire redémarrer le système.
Insérer/retirer une carte PCMCIA
Poussez la carte PCMCIA dans le bon sens à l´intérieur du tiroir de carte PCI. Il n´est pas nécessaire ici
d´éteindre votre ordinateur.
N´ incorporez pas la carte PCMCIA tournée à 180°, ne forcez pas en insérant la carte, cela endommage la carte PCMCIA et la carte PCI, perte de la garantie!
Ensuite, il faudra procéder à l´installation des pilotes suivant la carte PCMCIA. Veuillez considérer les instructions de la carte PCMCIA.
Pour éjecter la carte PCMCIA, appuyez prudemment sur le bouton d´éjection jusqu´à ce qu´un bout de la carte PCMCIA soit sorti. Puis, tirez- la prudemment du tiroir de la carte PCI.
Si vous tentez de retirer une carte PCMCIA pendant le fonctionnement de l´ordinateur, ceci peut entraîner
une perte de données suivant les cartes PCMCIA.
Respectez les instructions afférentes à la carte PCMCIA pour de plus amples informations.
Souvent il y a dans la barre d´outils, un pictograme qui est illuminé avec une flêche, qui permet de retirer
sans risque la carte PCMCIA du système.
