IGC continues to host the many events
that IGC’s heritage has shown to be a
winning combination: Winter Cup,
Summer Cup, Monthly Medal, RU21,
Matchplay and 36-hole Club
Championship, as well as special events
throughout the year that will be identified
in this calendar.
IGC provides one of the biggest
amateur programmes of golf events
in Europe
Competitive golf practically every
weekend of the year, visiting many of
Belgium’s fine golf courses including most
of the ‘Royals’.

 Pre-plan your next shot, and play it
without undue delay.
 Assess your putt when your group
arrives on the green.
 Be ready to play immediately after your
partner.
 Play when ready, it is not strictly
necessary to respect the order of play
especially off the green
 Keep practice swings to a minimum.
 Don't fall asleep at the address.
 Walk briskly between shots and green to
the next tee.
 Position your bag/trolley at the side of
the green ready for the next tee.
 If in doubt as to a potentially lost ball or
out-of bounds, play a provisional ball
(and declare it to your partner). This
saves walking back.
 When appropriate, play your shot then
help search for your partner's ball.
 There should never be more than one
hole between you and the group
ahead of you.
 Respect the 5 minute limit when
searching for a lost ball.
 If searching for a lost ball (5 min.) and
pressed by the group behind - LET
THEM THROUGH immediately.
 Continue your erudite and intellectual
conversations whilst walking - not
when your partner is about to play.
