Rahim Aga Khan
Rahim Aga Khan, fils aîné de son Altesse Karim Aga Khan, fait ses études secondaires aux États-Unis
et obtient une licence de littérature comparée à l’Université Brown du Rhode Island. Le Prince Rahim
poursuit en Espagne un cursus de gestion et d’administration à la Business School de l’Université de
Navarra à Barcelone. Des études qui le mènent naturellement vers les affaires familiales. Membre du conseil
d’administration de la Fondation de Chantilly, Prince Rahim dirige également l’Agence Aga Khan pour la
Microfinance ; partageant son temps entre les pays où s’exercent ses vastes activités.
Homme de goût s’il en est, -il vient d’épouser une ravissante et charmante mannequin américaine, devenue
Princesse Salwa- Rahim aime l’automobile. Ce qui n’est pas anormal pour un garçon qui a grandi avec des
Maserati dessinées par Frua et par Giugiaro, dont certains modèles uniques, mais aussi avec une Golf 1
Giugiaro. Son goût personnel va plutôt vers le design des autos des années ‘70 et début ‘80. Il lui arrive de
participer à quelques compétitions automobiles dont Le Mans Classic en 2014.
Son lien avec Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille est naturel et important car, outre son lien affectif
avec Maserati, son soutien a été précieux dans la réalisation de ce beau projet. Il sera un membre attentif
du jury qu’il saura au mieux guider au travers de cet écrin formidable qu’offre aux voitures du Concours le
domaine de Chantilly qu’il connaît si bien.
Rahim Aga Khan, His Highness Karim Aga Khan’s oldest son, has studied in the USA, obtaining an Arts Degree at the
Brown University in Rhode Island. Afterwards, Prince Rahim goes to the Navarra University Business School in Barcelona
(Spain). His studies naturally lead him to join the family business. A member of the Domaine de Chantilly Foundation, Prince
Rahim also manages the Aga Khan Agency for the Microfinance. He shares his time between the countries where his numerous
activities take place.
Gentleman of taste, -he just married an attractive and charming American top model, who is now Princess Salwa-, Rahim likes
automobiles. An obvious interest for a boy who has grown up among Maseratis designed by both Frua and Giugiaro, some of
them being ones-off. His personal taste is for the ‘70s, early ‘80s car design. He sometimes enters in motor racing events such as
the 2014 Le Mans Classic.
His link with Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille is both natural and important. Actually, in addition to his emotional
connection with Maserati, he was a precious support for the realization of this ambitious project. He will be an attentive
member of the jury and furthermore will be able to guide the judges through the formidable setting this estate he knows so well
offers to the concours cars.
