“AUTHORS ON TOUR” PROGRAM - NON-FICTION LIST — 2011 FREDERIC WORMS dates End of October - beginning of November Frédéric Worms is a French Philosopher. He is the director of the Centre international d'étude de la philosophie française contemporaine (CIEPFC) at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris and a professor of modern and contemporary philosophy history. A specialist of Henri Bergson, he is the coauthor with Philippe Soulez of a commanding biography on the philosopher. Worms directs the Annales bergsoniennes and edited the first critical Bergson’s edition for the Presses Universitaires de France. As an editor he has also contributed to the republication of works by Jean Wahl. He is a member of the editorial committee for the magazine Esprit in which he writes a regular column “A quoi tenons nous ?”.
