Increase of the minimum wage as of 1 January 2015
Every two years, the Government is obliged to submit to the Chamber of Deputies a report
on the development of general economic conditions and revenues pursuant to article L.222-2
of the Labour Code. On the basis of this report, the Government may propose an increase of
the minimum wage.

Tous les deux ans, le Gouvernement doit soumettre à la Chambre des Députés, sur base de
l’article L.222-2 du Code du Travail, un rapport sur l'évolution des conditions économiques
générales et des revenus. Sur base de ce rapport, le Gouvernement a la faculté de proposer
un relèvement du salaire social minimum.

Die Regierung ist gemäß Artikel L.222-2 des Arbeitsgesetzbuches verpflichtet, alle zwei
Jahre der Abgeordnetenkammer einen Bericht über die Entwicklung der allgemeinen
wirtschaftlichen Bedingungen sowie der Einnahmen zu unterbreiten. Auf der Grundlage
dieses Berichtes hat die Regierung die Möglichkeit, eine Anhebung des Mindestlohnes
vorzuschlagen.
