The luxury Sicilian rental villa is positioned in the heart of the grand San Giorgio
estate, huddled within aromatic orange groves and flourishing gardens, overlooking
striking Mount Etna. Located between Mount Etna and the sea in a land of hillsides
and pastures, it is one of the most exciting areas of Sicily. Catania is 30km from the
villa, Scordia 13km, the nearest airport 30km and the ocean and nearest beach about
25km from the villa.
This fantastic 580sqm property, ideal for 16 people, consists of two main buildings.
Firstly, the Manor House with the bedrooms and the peaceful and quiet upper level
library with floor-to-ceiling shelves crammed with monographs in a variety of
languages, photography magazines and history books. There is also a smaller kitchen
in the first building. The second building consists of the Orangery, the dining and
lounge area with its gorgeous lava stone fireplace and snug seating area. In the
kitchen the chef will prepare all meals, in fine Sicilian tradition but also on request.
Above the Orangery is the Belvedere where you can enjoy the awe-inspiring 360° view
of Mount Etna and the neighbouring valleys. It can also be used for meetings and
small conferences or even yoga. The private villa has Wi-Fi internet, a DVD player,
iPod dock and satellite TV.
Guests are accommodated in one of the eight private rooms divided between the
lower garden level and the upper garden levels of the Manor House. The rooms are
decorated with antiques and vintage crafts and they have private balconies or straight
access to the gardens surrounding the villa. The rooms are equipped with colonial
ceiling fans, heating and air conditioning. The en suite bathrooms have scented soaps
and toiletries from Ortigia and feature Sicilian ceramic. Guests will rest peacefully on
beds clad with fine Egyptian cotton linens.
The strikingly large infinity pool is the core of relaxation at the luxury villa. Shaded by

and herbal garden. The villa's own synthetic grass and sand tennis court is nestled

A cook, butler and housekeepers will look after your every need and a chat with the
owner and his team will enlighten you about the region's rich cultural and historical
past.
