Dear parents, why add this new face to the APE-EES board ?
We know what our kids need just like teachers and animateurs do, don’t we? But our views may differ from theirs, of
course. The voice of parents and families must be heard in the school’s decision-making procedures. So let’s make use of
our voice, and of our votes!
I am an experienced mom of a 9 year-old boy ;) My native language is German. I speak French, English fluently and
understand Spanish. I have worked as a public relations officer with the European institutions in Strasbourg for 4 years.
Thus I bring in knowledge of the institutions and their relations with the city of Strasbourg, and I am good at organising
events. Previously we lived in Brussels for and my son attended an EU crèche and maternelle. The experience with the
institutions’ school facilities in Brussels could also be an asset for us in APE-EES.
