The company
• Founded 15 years ago:
Born with the new millenium, the company AROMAX was created in 2000
by Jean-Louis Matout, translating his desire to share his expertise in matters of
natural aromatic and active ingredients, perfumes and flavors.
Based in Sophia Antipolis, at the heart of Europe’s leading technology
park and just a few minutes from Grasse, AROMAX occupies a unique position
at the crossing of the roads, between product innovation and decades of
experience.

AROMAX develops and offers bespoke " product-solutions " in the field of
natural aromatic raw materials and active ingredients, perfume compositions
and food flavours to satisfy the specific requirements of its clients, in both
traditional and innovative sectors with the aim of contributing to the success of
their products.
To achieve this, AROMAX provides them with a wide range of raw
materials, one which is regularly improved to respond to its clients’ diverse
request, including essential oils, isolates and natural aromatic molecules, floral
waters, vegetable oils and plant extracts, but also standard or 100% natural
perfumes and flavors.
AROMAX’s constant innovation is also recognised through the continued
support of OSEO INNOVATION.

AROMAX can supply practically all types of essential oils
produced in the world in any quantity to its clients, guaranteeing
the chemotype, purity and source.

Active ingredients – antioxidants, astringents, anti-radicals, rich
in polyphenols (flavonoids) and anthocyanins (skincare
cosmetics, make-up) – and aromatics, these bring a unique
woody character to perfumes and flavours, with the ‘‘ highly
natural ’’ and original accords of vanilla, whisky-lactone,
syringaldehyde or furfural.
