Software Update Instructions
Soft Update Preparation
1. It is recommended to first retrieve all data log and configuration information from Thermo
Scientific™ AquaPro™ as it may be erased with the new software upload. Please follow the
steps below:
a. Plug in a flash drive in the USB slot of AquaPro and “Upload DataLog” to retrieve data log
information.
b. Copy System Configuration to save the configuration. Please note that some configuration
files may not work across software versions.
c. Remove the flash drive.
2. Unzip the software file in the root directory of the USB flash drive, or copy both AQUAPRO.bin
and AQUAPRO1.bin to the root directory from WAI Library. It is recommended that the USB
contain only the new files for the update. If you are updating a meter with version 1.13 or
later, only the AQUAPRO1.bin file is required.
Software Update Steps
7. Press ENTER.
1. On the meter, press the MENU key to display the Main
Menu.
2. Press the Down Arrow Key until the cursor is over
Service.
8. Open the “DATA Cover” using a coin, and plug in the
USB flash drive that contains the “.bin” file(s).
3. Press ENTER.
4. Press the Down Arrow Key until the cursor is over USB
Flash Drive.
9. Press Enter.
10.Wait until the unit powers up with the new version. Do
not cycle power or remove the USB until the AquaPro
unit powers up with the banner screen for the new
software revision.
5. Press ENTER.
6. Press the Down Arrow Key until the cursor is over
Load New Software.
