Since its first edition in 1998, this symposium has been growing in
number of participants and also in the variety of issues. Although its
beginnings were related with the natural product chemistry, it soon
expanded its sights to other aspects of the organic chemistry. It also
should be noted that this symposium has always served as a place to
establish fruitful relationships between researcher s from universities of
Spain and Morocco.
