mucha gente, aunque el propio autor defiende que no se trata de ese tipo
de libros porque no pretende dar soluciones, sino simplemente hace
referencia a unas enseñanzas que pone en práctica en su vida, y que
aprendió durante el tiempo que tuvo cáncer. Y es que Albert tuvo esta
enfermedad tan conocida por todos durante diez años (en su adolescencia
y juventud). Nada menos que cuatro diferentes que le han dejado como
resultado sin una pierna, un pulmón y un trocito de hígado. Hoy está
totalmente curado, y nos muestra lo mucho que aprendió en esa vida de
hospital.

Against All Enemies is the second successive Clancy military-espionageterrorism thriller written with a co-author, and the blogosphere resounds with
speculation that the former insurance broker didn't even proof the galleys.
Indeed, the detail is numbing and not always believable. A coat that
prevents a bullet from even leaving an impact? A former US Navy Seal
running at his foes and firing a pistol from each hand? Add wooden dialogue
and a leaden plot, and it's easy to think that Clancy farmed out the work to
create a character ready-made for films. That hero is Max Moore, who takes
on an unholy alliance between the Taliban and a Mexican drug cartel. He's
burdened with a guilty conscience, but the reasons are revealed, irritatingly,
only in flashback dribs and drabs every 50 pages or so. Put it this way: he's
no Jack Ryan, though at novel's end he seems destined to join the counterterrorism sphere of Clancy's former US president.

Vallière is sick and febrile. Cook takes off with the Badonian porters, the
supplies, and the collections. Gregson and Vallière decide to move on, but
are soon joined again by the contrite Cook who apparently was left behind by
the Badonians. The narrator is experiencing hallucinations as the journey
winds down to its end. He sees at times in "ambiguous transparency" a
wardrobe, a ceiling, wallpaper, an armchair, a tumbler with a teaspoon, a
pillow, but these images on closer inspection dissolve into the surroundings
of the expedition …

Dans son dernier livre, Alexandre Jardin règle (définitivement ?) son compte
à son grand-père, directeur de cabinet de Pierre Laval. Controverse en
perspective... Ce pourrait être l'un des livres polémiques de la rentrée. C'est
tout du moins ce qu'Alexandre Jardin, 45 ans, envisage, voire espère, en
livrant le quatorzième ouvrage, le plus grave, de sa - déjà - longue carrière.
"Fini de rire" ! Ainsi débute Des gens très bien, cet ouvrage devant lequel il
s'est, dit-il, longtemps dérobé avant que Jean-Paul Enthoven, dit "Dizzy",
son éditeur chez Grasset, le pousse, enfin, à se "laver le coeur", à
rembourser la dette familiale des Jardin. Les racines de la honte ? Son
grand-père, Jean Jardin, dit "le Nain jaune", directeur de cabinet de Pierre
Laval du 20 avril 1942 au 30 octobre 1943, dont "on" aurait, jusque-là,
édulcoré le rôle déterminant dans l'appareil d'Etat de Vichy.

Pour son vingtième, cinquantième ou centième roman – nul n’en tient plus
le compte, excepté quelques insomniaques allergiques au mouton –, Amélie
Nothomb nous mène certes jusqu’au Nevada, mais pour mieux nous laisser
dans un sale état. Cette histoire d’un adolescent tombé amoureux de
l’épouse de son maître en prestidigitation oscille entre le conte pour enfants
maltraités (ne pas hésiter à composer un numéro d’urgence si vos parents
entreprennent de le lire à voix haute) et la méthodique révision des

Roman bien plus autobiographique que les autres, Ni d'Ève ni d'Adam est
un excellent récit, un de plus, de l'écrivaine belge Amélie Nothomb. Difficile
de s'intéresser à son histoire au début, le lecteur se laisse cependant très
vite prendre par l'humour de l'auteur, qui semble bien s'amuser à
décortiquer les différences, incompréhensions et malentendus entre Amélie
la Belge et Rinri le Japonais, ainsi que son analyse des sentiments qui
naissent et disparaissent au fil de leur relation. Sous la plume de Nothomb
ceux-ci deviennent même palpables. En effet, comme pour tous ses autres
livres, c'est avant tout la magnifique et toujours agréable écriture de
l'écrivain belge qui donne l'intérêt réel au roman.

du 20e arrondissement parisien où il a élu domicile. Quatre ans pour mûrir
un projet baroque et ambitieux consistant à retracer la vie d'un grand
bourgeois un peu pincé, sous l'angle trivial des fluides corporels, des
organes et autres manifestations de la tuyauterie humaine. Un drôle
d'inventaire à la Prévert clôt l'ouvrage. A comme acouphènes, analyses

стальной блохе») — повесть Николая Лескова, написанная и
опубликованная в 1881 году. Автор включил повесть в свой сборник
произведений «Праведники». События повести начинаются
приблизительно в 1815 году. Император Александр I во время поездки
по Европе посетил Англию, где в числе прочих диковинок ему
продемонстрировали крошечную стальную блоху, которая могла
