La batterie est conçue exclusivement pour l’alimentation de vêtements et équipements chauffants fournis par
Diagonale Sud Technologie. La technologie Lithium polymère :
La densité massique est de 260 Wh/kg. Par comparaison, elle contient 7 fois plus d'énergie que les batteries au
plomb (~40 Wh/kg) à poids égal car la structure en film mince est légère et maximise la surface de stockage utile
d'énergie .
Les accumulateurs au Lithium ont fonctionnés sur la sonde spatiale « Opportunity » pendant de nombreuses années
malgré un froid intense à -100°C sur la planète Mars.

Charger la batterie :
A réception, et avant une première utilisation, il est important d’effectuer une charge complète de la batterie.
L’opération peut prendre 4 – 6 heures et plus.
Mise en charge :
1. Connecter le chargeur à la batterie.
2. Brancher le chargeur à une prise secteur (240 Volts).
3. L'écran lumineux indicateur de niveau de charge est alors actif. La LED du chargeur est rouge et indique que la
charge est en cours.
4. Attendre que l’indicateur de niveau soit au niveau « 9 » ET que la LED du chargeur soit passée au VERT.
La batterie est chargée.
Mise en chauffe:
1. Connecter la batterie à la prise (3,5 mm) située dans la poche du vêtement.
2. Appuyer 2 secondes sur l’appui touche « POWER ON / SET UP »
3. L’écran affiche « 1 » : le vêtement est en chauffe, niveau « 1 » (le plus bas).
4. Sélectionnez le niveau de chauffe requis (1,2 ou 3), en opérant des simples appui sur l’un des appuis touches (SET
UP ou SET DOWN)
Cette opération peut être réalisée à l’aide de la commande sans fil (sélection des niveaux 1,2 ou 3.
Après 5 secondes sans action sur la batterie, l’écran se met automatiquement sur l’indication du niveau de charge.
Arrêt de la chauffe :
Faire un appui long sur « POWER DOWN / SET DOWN ». Ou à l’aide de la commande (bouton rouge).
L’écran s’éteint.
Stockage des batteries:
• Ne pas exposer les batteries à l’eau et l’humidité
• Stocker les batteries à température ambiante sans excéder 40 °C, et au dessous de -4°C
• Stocker les batteries chargées à 30-50 % de la capacité.
• Ne pas laisser en plein soleil
• Ne pas exposer à de l’électricité statique
• Ne pas ouvrir, écraser, percer, incinérer
• Ne pas mettre en court-circuit
• N’utiliser que le chargeur fourni par le fournisseur
• Ne pas jeter la batterie après usage, la déposer conformément aux réglementations gouvernementales locales.

Si la batterie entre en contact avec de l’eau ou tout autre liquide, la débrancher immédiatement
et l’isoler dans un endroit ouvert, loin de matériaux combustibles.

B12V-5200. Please read the entire user manual prior to use.
Li-Polymer Battery is a slim and lightweight external
battery pack that will allow you to power a variety of heated products.

WARNING
• Do not attempt to disassemble or alter any part of this product.
• Do not store below – 4°C or above 40°C.
• Do not allow this product to have contact with water or other liquids.
If water or other liquids enter the battery interior, immediately
unplug the product from the battery. Continued use of the product
may result in fire or an electrical shock.
• Do not place this product near an external heat source or expose the
battery to direct flame or heat, as the battery may explode.
CAUTION
Failure to charge battery prior to use will reduce battery life.
CHARGE BATTERY REGULARLY:
It is important to maintain at least 25% of your battery power when
not in use. Failure to do this will result in performance problems and
reduced battery life.
Be certain to use your battery with products having an amp rating less
than the maximum capacity output rating for the battery. For
instance, the lithium battery pack has a maximum capacity output
rating of 4 amps and should not be used with heated products that
draw more than 4 amps. Please check your product’s amp draw before
connecting battery pack. Failure to do so can overheat the battery
causing damage.
Charging the A60 B12V-5200
To set up the charging process, proceed as follows:
1. Locate the input cable connector for the charger.
2. Plug the AC power cord into a properly rated AC outlet (110v).
3. Plug the chargers output cord into the battery output port.
4. The battery power level indicator LED is green when it’s fully charged or
red if charging is needed.
5. Charge battery until the red LED on the charger is a green color and all the
number 9 LED on the battery is illuminated. The battery is now fully
charged.
Power settings Push-button Indicators
Power Setting: The B12V-5200 batteries are designed with a
built-in 3 setting controller that are displayed in numerical form ranging
from 1 to 3 with 3 being the highest setting or power output. Push the UP
button to raise the setting and push the DOWN button to lower the setting.
After selecting the desired power setting it will be displayed for 5 seconds
before it will then display the battery’s current power level or strength
which is described below. The function is only available when the battery is
connected to a product.
Power level: The B12V-5200 batteries are also equipped
with a power level indicator that displays the battery strength in numerical
form ranging form 1 to 9. When the level is at the lowest setting (1) it is in
serious discharge and needs to be recharged to prevent damage to the
battery. When the battery is at the highest level (9) it is fully charged. When
not connected to a product hold down the UP or DOWN buttons to check
your power level or battery strength. When connected to a product and the
desired power setting has been selected the power level will be displayed
after 5 seconds.

When you purchase this Gerbing’s battery within the United States, the electrical components
of the battery are warranted to be free from factory defects in materials and workmanship for
90 days from the date of the initial purchase.
If you have a warranty claim, please return the battery together with the original receipt to
Diagonale Sud Technologie for inspection. We will repair without charge a battery found
under normal use to be defective during the warranty period. If we determine that a battery
covered by the warranty cannot be repaired, we will replace the battery. Please allow 4-6 weeks
for repair or replacement. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
This limited warranty sets forth the complete liability and obligations ofDiagonale Sud Technologie
for breach of warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover repairs by third parties, rips, scratches, tears, cracks and
from abnormal use or deterioration caused by ordinary wear and tear or exposure. It also does
not cover damage caused by accident, abuse or improper cleaning or care.
