Shows and events at the Château de Versailles
The park of the Château de Versailles will be putting
on an exceptional number of events this year
to mark the 400th anniversary of the birth of its
gardener, André Le Nôtre. Mis designs will form the
backdrop to a display of sculptures by Giuseppe
Penone (until October 30), and spectacular live shows
includmg the Musical Poulains Show (until October
27), the Fountams Night Show (until September 14)
and Musical Gardens (until October 29). The
Orangerie will host. The château itself will play host
to The Royal Sérénade, a musical "stroll"
through the Hall of the Mirrors (until September 14)

The banks of the Ourcq canal between the bassin
de la Villette and Bobigny are playmg host
to reguler weekend events this summer. Water fun

de l'Arsenal, paddle boats and canoës. Back on
shore, don't miss the beaches, rape bridge, circus,
