DRIVER

 DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the General Manager and the Warehouse Supervisor, the person will ensure that all orders are delivered to the quality and standards of the company and while providing excellent customer service. Il faut aider la clientèle du Groupe ABP à bien sélectionner les produits nécessaires à l’organisation de divers événements, de développer la compagnie en faisant du démarchage sur la route, en participant aux activités de promotion et a atteindre une certaine efficacité en ce qui concerne les détails techniques, la logistique et la planification de différents projets ou installation. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ● Maintain driver logs and complete pre­trip inspections and forms; ● Maintain truck equipment, truck service and appearance of the truck; ● Complete deliveries and pickups of customer orders according to schedule made by the warehouse supervisor, including special instructions; ● Be able to use the proper equipment to protect items during delivery; understanding of damage control; ● Empty the truck and replace the stock back to their designated area; ● Understanding how and being able to load the truck in an efficient and secure manner; ● Final quality check of order upon delivery; once the order is unloaded and any necessary setup is complete; ● Count items upon delivery or/upon pick up to match the numbers on the bill; ● Safely transport equipment to customer’s location in a timely, safe and courteous manner; ● Make sure to have the customer signed and date every order slip; ● Execute all others related tasks. THE WORK SCHEDULE The schedule is set according to production needs, this includes weekends and evenings. The schedule varies based on needs. Overtime is paid according to the Ontario labor standards. REQUIREMENTS : ●
