Installation Procedure for QUIK-ConnectTM Plug

Procedure d’installation d’une fiche Quik-ConnectTM
Recommended Tools – Wire Extractor/Insert Tool (Part Number: 18-216) and
Quik-Connect Extractor Tool (Part Number: 18-234).
Outils recommandes – Extracteur de Fil / Outil d’Insertion (PN 18-216) et Outil
d’Extraction Quik-Connect (PN 18-234).
STEP 1 – Examine the QUIK-CONNECTTM
Plug to ensure that the labels for the wire
positions on the back are legible and that
the plug is free of any noticeable damage.

Examinez la fiche Quick-ConnectTM pour
s’assurer que les etiquettes des positions
des fils sont lisibles et que la fiche n’est
pas visiblement endommagee.
ETAPPE 1
STEP 2 – Wires with the MIL-C-39029/22192 sockets crimped on are inserted into
the back of the plug by use of a Wire
Extractor/Insert Tool (P/N 18-216 or
M81969/14-10).
Etappe 2
Les fils avec les embases serties MIL-C39029/22-192 sont inseres dans le dos de
la fiche en utilisant un Extracteur de Fil /
Outil d’Insertion (PN 18-216 ou
M81969/14-10).
STEP 3 – Mating the QUIK-CONNECTTM
QUIK-CONNECT Plug into the back of the
switch housing does not require any tool,
but an extraction tool (Part Number 18234) is required to unplug the connector.
Note: 12 Sealing plugs (Part Number 18215) are provided with each plug for the
unused wire positions.
Etappe 3
Inserer la fiche Quick-ConnectTM dans le
dos du bouton poussoir ne demande pas
d’outillage particulier, mais pour degager
la fiche un Outil d’Extraction (PN 18-234)
est requis.
Nota: Avec chaque fiche, 12 bouchons
d’etancheite (PN 18-215) sont livres pour
les positions des fils non-utilisees.
