About the artist
O
riginally from Cocagne, Suzanne
now lives in Grande-Digue, New
Brunswick. She grew up by the
sea and still lives near the water,
surrounded by the maritime
landscapes which inspire her
paintings. Her art features vibrant
colours, which infuse her paintings
with life.
Suzanne worked with pastels for
a long time, but has been painting
exclusively with acrylics for the past
five years. Her style is very colourful,
graphic and stylized, creating bright
and highly original paintings.
Suzanne studied Psychology at
Université de Moncton
from 1994 to 1998 and
then Graphic Design at
NBCC-Dieppe from 1998
to 2000.
She has been painting
full-time since 2002. She
also owned the Mosaïque Café Galerie Boutique from 2003 to 2009.
Her art is on display at
Serendipin'Art in St. Andrews, NB, Gainsborough
Galleries in Calgary, AB,
and the Pilar Shephard
Art Gallery in Charlottetown, PEI.

habite maintenant à GrandeDigue, au Nouveau-Brunswick.
Ayant grandit et vivant toujours
près de la mer, elle est inspirée
par les paysages maritimes qui
l’entourent pour créer ses tableaux.
Ceux-ci se distinguent tout premièrement par les couleurs vibrantes qu’elle
utilise, ce qui donne de la vie à ses
tableaux.
Suzanne à travaillé longtemps
au pastel sec, mais peint exclusivement
à l’acrylique depuis cinq ans. Son style
est très coloré, graphique et stylisé, ce
qui lui donne des tableaux éclatants et
très originals.
Suzanne a étudié en
psychologie à l’Université
de Moncton de 1994
à 1998 et ensuite en
Techniques de conception
graphique au CCNBDieppe de 1998 à 2000.
Elle peint à temps plein
depuis 2002. De plus,
elle fut propriétaire de la
galerie et du café Mosaïque entre 2003 et 2009.
Elle expose son travail à
Serindipin’art à
St-Andrews NB, à la
Galerie Gainsborough à
Calgary en Alberta et à la
Galerie Pilar Shephard à
Charlottetown ÎPÉ.
