En l’honneur de la semaine des vétérans, les élèves ont écrit des lettres afin de les offrir lors de les cérémonies du 8 et 11 novembre. M.
Denys Mayrand a été très touché par ce geste. Cela lui a rappelé le bien que lui faisaient les lettres de son épouse lorsqu’il était en service en
Haïti, Yougoslavie etc.

formal working agreements with the five governing boards of the following schools in or near the Richelieu Valley:
Mountainview, Cedar Street, William Latter, Courtland International and Mount Bruno Elementary Schools.
The RVCLC Coordinator looks forward to collaborating on projects with these schools in the area of community collaboration/en-
gagement, student success, mental & physical well-being, life-long learning etc. Together with passion, creativity, flexibility, teamwork etc. we

Le Petit Pont est un organisme de supervision de droit d’accès. Sa mission est de permettre la création et/ou le maintien du lien entre un
enfant et son parent dans un lieu neutre, familial et harmonieux.
Le rôle du Petit Pont consiste à observer la relation parent-enfant. L’organisme possède ses propres règles et règlements internes afin de respecter
les mandats de neutralité, de protection et d’observation qui lui sont attribués.
Le Petit Pont : Les services
Les services de supervision sont utilisés par des parents dont le droit d’accès à leur(s) enfant(s) est interrompu, difficile ou rendu trop conflictuel à
la suite d’une séparation ou d’un divorce.
Les parents sont référés par la Cour supérieure, le Centre Jeunesse ou peuvent venir sur base volontaire. Dans ce dernier cas, aucune médiation
entre les parents n’est réalisée. Ceux-ci doivent s’être préalablement entendus sur l’obtention du service.

Working effectively in community requires time, patience, collaboration and perseverance from people who come together and believe in the goal they are working towards.

*February 23, 2013: Volunteers came together to box 3-5000 books (mostly English
books) from the Otterburn Park Library that was closing.
*March to July 2013: Up to 6 seniors helped the RVCLC Coordinator sort through the
books. We met almost every Wed. from 3-5 pm at the RVCLC-MTV Library.

Martine Chew a commencé l’initiation au cycle 3.1 ainsi que Maureen Caissy au cycle 2.2.
Évidemment les math et sciences sont visées ainsi que les compétences en ELA, sans oublier les
compétences transversales.
Les élèves sont vraiment excités par l’entrée des robots dans leur vie scolaire.
Les élèves de Madame Caissy ont déjà complété l’assemblage des robots lego wedo qui serviront au
projet de mythes et légendes animales.

2) Decide on a day to open the community library to the public. We are brainstorming
and exploring having a weekday night or weekend (say Saturday) where the seniors
from the community can come to the RVCLC centre to possibly do a variety of things
such as:
-Participate in an exercise group, socialize and borrow a book from the library, have a
small meal ( soup, coffee and dessert; say for about $3-4),
-Monthly social where seniors can play bingo for fun or watch a movie, play cards etc.

Dans le cadre de la semaine des écoles publiques, les élèves de
l’école internationale Courtland Park ont eu l’honneur de présenter
différentes formes d’art qu’ils pratiquent dans leur établissement.
Un groupe a présenté des pièces de guitare qu’ils ont apprises avec
Willow Quig durant les activités parascolaires. Leurs performances

Runs weekly on Wednesday nights for 26 sessions. Each player pays $75 for
season. Pizza party provided by RVCLC at Noel and in the spring. We have 21
players signed up and now have a waiting list. Profits from the league are split
between Mountainview School and the RVCLC.

The RVCLC has been trying to launch a lifelong learning activity for many months now. It has
taken patience and the cultivation of social relationships with seniors in the Richelieu Valley

On October 23, 2013 the RVCLC was proud to be able to launch Jog Your Mind for Seniors
with the Women’s Participation Group at the Otterburn Park Legion from 1:15 to 2:45 pm. 32
seniors were present and a request for 5 more participants was made.

Our school objective this year was $1500. Last year’s objective was $1000 and over $3000 were raised! Mr. St-Cyr, the school principal, challenged the school to work as a team and promised students an extended recess if the goal is achieved. He also promised the class that raised

Our school objective this year was $1500. Last year’s objective was $1000 and over $3000 were raised! Mr. St-Cyr, the school principal, challenged the school to work as a team and promised students an extended recess if the goal is achieved. He also promised the class that raised

l’école internationale Courtland Park ont eu l’honneur de présenter
différentes formes d’art qu’ils pratiquent dans leur établissement.
Un groupe a présenté des pièces de guitare qu’ils ont apprises avec
Willow Quig durant les activités parascolaires. Leurs performances

The RVCLC has been trying to launch a lifelong learning activity for many months now. It has
taken patience and the cultivation of social relationships with seniors in the Richelieu Valley

On October 23, 2013 the RVCLC was proud to be able to launch Jog Your Mind for Seniors
with the Women’s Participation Group at the Otterburn Park Legion from 1:15 to 2:45 pm. 32
seniors were present and a request for 5 more participants was made.

*March to July 2013: Up to 6 seniors helped the RVCLC Coordinator sort through the
books. We met almost every Wed. from 3-5 pm at the RVCLC-MTV Library.

Les élèves sont vraiment excités par l’entrée des robots dans leur vie scolaire.
Les élèves de Madame Caissy ont déjà complété l’assemblage des robots lego wedo qui serviront au
projet de mythes et légendes animales.

-Monthly social where seniors can play bingo for fun or watch a movie, play cards etc.
