Steps to preparing a pizza:
1. Préparez la pâte (prepare the dough).
2. Etalez de la sauce tomate sur la pâte (Spread the sauce on the dough).
3. Ajoutez des garnitures (toppings).
4. Ajoutez beaucoup de fromage (Add lots of cheese).
5. Mettez la pizza dans un four chaud (Put the pizza in a hot oven). Attendez quinze minutes(Wait 15 min.)
(Students will be asked to list the steps necessary to preparing a pizza in French)
Pizza sentences:
The students will be asked to name a type of pizza then they will be asked to list the ingredients in
complete sentences. For bonus marks they may choose to draw their pizza.
Example:
La pizza simple. Il y a de la sauce tomate. Il y a du fromage.
(A simple pizza. There is tomato sauce. There is some cheese.)
***If students wish they may borrow one of the students’ books to study the different types of pizzas that
have been introduced throughout this unit
