Conference
Consulting Engineers Africa 2008 (Energy and the Environment) in
Tunis, hosted by the FIDIC Member Association ANBEIC, groups the
FIDIC Group of Member Associations (GAMA) 2008 Conference (22-23
June 2008), ANBEIC Energy and Environment Workshops (24 June
2008), and a FIDIC-ANBEIC Contracts Seminar (25 June 2008) on
claims and dispute resolution. There are special African Development
Bank Workshops during the GAMA Conference on 23 June 2008.

The hotels will provide transfers to and from Tunis International Airport
and to and from the Consulting Engineers Africa 2008 venue (Tunis
Science City). If you have difficulty making a booking, please send an

make the arrangements for you.
2. Visas
Nationals of many countries do not need visas, and if required, they can
sometimes be obtained at the airport on arrival (e.g., not required: EU,
Australia, Canada, USA). If you need a visa but do not have a Tunisian
embassy in your country (see "Links" below) and have difficulty
obtaining a visa, please send a copy of your passport and two photos,
with your given and family names and the passport number clearly
marked, to the organizers (Abdelhamid Douzi, ANBEIC, at
[email protected], with a copy to [email protected]), who will
arrange for a visa as soon as possible.
3. Post conference activities
For post-conference activities, the organizers suggest that you contact
