COURSE ABSTRACT
The tasks of the course is to deepen knowledge of French while developing the skills to use in casual
situations as well as in such areas as entrepreneurship and trade. Students acquire basic knowledge
in business communication, written and oral, develop the skills to use French in professional
communication, address issues of style in the language of business.
Les tâches du cours est d’approfondir les connaissances de la langue française tout en développant la
compétence de l’utiliser dans les situations de la vie quotidienne ainsi que dans tels domaines comme
l’entreprenariat et le commerce. Les étudiants acquièrent les connaissances de base dans la
communication professionnelle écrite et orale, développent la compétence d’utiliser la langue
française dans la communication professionnelle, abordent les questions du style de la langue
d’affaires.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Students will acquire the basic skills of casual and professional communication. Students will be able
to speak on basic topics and to communicate with colleagues and Francophone partners.
Students will develop the following skills:
Intellectual:
• to understand and to use the basic and specific business vocabulary of French in different sectors
(business, marketing, law, etc.).
• to fill themselves comfortable in situations of professional communication.
Academic:
• to speak French on casual and professional topics;
• to work with documents written in French;
Interpersonal:
• to work in teams;
• to understand the rules of the French business communication;
• to act in the international context.
