Diageo a confié à l’agence Linea la création d’un produit remarquable : un savant mélange
de toute la sophistication et de l’authenticité de John Walker réunies dans une carafe d’exception,
et ce en hommage au fondateur de la marque. Au travers des multiples facettes du décanteur, références
à l ’ é t i q u e t t e o b l i q u e , c e t t e c r é a t i o n r e s t e f i d è l e a u x a t t r i b u t s d e J o h n n i e Wa l k e r.
Ce décanteur en cristal de Baccarat est soufflé à la main, poli puis gravé. De fines feuilles d’or 24 carats
sont appliquées sur la frette de la bouteille, le tout couronné d’un bouchon en cristal également.
Diageo entrusted Linea with the mission of creating a masterpiece that would honour
John Walker, the founder of the iconic Johnnie Walker brand. Linea created a design loyal
to the attributes of the Johnnie Walker brand, the multiple facets reunite in the distinctive slanting label
found in the centre of the decanter. The Baccarat decanter itself is hand blown, polished
and sand engraved. A 24 carat gold plated neck collar bearing the name ”The John Walker“
rests under the Baccarat crystal stopper.
